Sorry I have not tested any other devices but s905 because I do not own any other device. But here is the thing, my changes to the LE core are simple enough that they could be implemented into any distribution as long as it has GPU drivers (which if I am correct s912 still doesn't) but it needs to be compiled for that platform specifically.

              best packaging I've ever found

Tested with a clone, S905x with 2GB and 100MB network withiout issue (Trongle SEGURO X1 Smart TV Box Android 6.0 TV BOX Amlogic S905X Quad Core 2GB DDR3 8GB Flash)

Also working with "installoninternal" (yes I like risk )

For the 1.6, is there a smooth update approach ? especially when it's on internal ?

I also have it installed to my internal memory. You can update just like LibreElec, just drop the file to the update folder.

I was thinking of making an auto update feature, but I am not sure its worth the trouble since not many people use my build, I mainly do it for myself, and I find it easy enough to manually update

                  complementary question,

what is better for retro, S905 or S905X ?
is the scraping of rom is automatic ? covering all the folders or only "download" ?

I think for retro there is no difference between the S905 and the S905x.

Scrapping of roms is not automatic, but it uses the GamesDB service, which you can run manually (press start button), honestly is very slow to scrap a bunch of roms, its better if you just download a ready pack of roms.

Also I intentionally not included any BIOS files as I wanted to keep the build as legal as possible.

I am currently trying to use the high res option in n64 mupen64). It seems i can enable the option in the ingame menu but where can i put the highres textures? Can anybody help? In retropie 3 its /home/pi/.local/share/mupen64plus/hires_textures

Hi, I installed your distro. Gorgeous.
I wanted to know what kind of room to go, because I tried some NeoGeo / Mame / fp1 es roms. 1944 appears to me on the list, but when I launch after a few seconds she returns to emulationstatio.
So I wanted to know if there are extra bios or core to download.
Then, since I am, this is more of a generic question.
I can not run the ir remote controller, is there a solution? As long as you play it does not work, but if you switch to Code then it's crucial.
                        My Tv-box is 905x v88Pro/MxqPro

Advmame needs a certain mame version ROM mame.106 I believe.

as for the remote, you need the remote.conf, copy it to /storage/.config and reboot.

remote.conf can be extracted from your android firmware.

In which folder is the emulationstation configuration file? I found 2 files es system conf in 2 different folder of which 1 can not be editable. However, editable does not change the interface.
