Thanks for the clarification and pointing out the spelling error, pingu!

    Here is what it says...

    Code:
    LibreELEC:~ # cd ~/.emulationstation
    LibreELEC:~/.emulationstation # ./emulationstation
    *** ERROR SETTING VSCREEN
lvl0: No systems found! Does at least one system have a game present? (check that extensions match!)
(Also, make sure you've updated your es_systems.cfg for XML!)
As I said I can't upload at least one rom as there is no Roms folder created.

Using the command in one of the first post to troubleshoot, I got:

    Code:
    LibreELEC:~/.emulationstation # ./emulationsatation
    -sh: ./emulationsatation: not found
Spellings wrong. This is what you need.

    Code:
    cd ~/.emulationstation
    ./emulationstation

No. You shouldn't think of it like that. Think of LibreELEC as a minimal Ubuntu/Debian build that runs the Kodi binary. All I am doing is adding the RetroArch/Libretro binary to the minimal Ubuntu/Debian (LibreELEC) build. They have nothing to do with Kodi. LibreELEC –(Just enough OS for KODI) is just a basic OS that runs Kodi. But it has enough installed to run other apps/binaries like EmulationStation & RetroArch.

Sorry no. This is only for RetroArch/Libretro cores. There is only a reicast core for x86. What Niabi is doing is porting the stand alone app to the platform. Something I have no interest in doing as it would be to much work.

    Hi there,

First of all, say thank you pinguy, for all these amazing things that you bring us.
Having said that, I've got a problem with your emulationstation port. I've read your notes and I noticed this partitular section: "When first opening EmulationStation it may not fit the screen correctly. If this happens just reboot the box and re-open EmulationStation. Also when first changing the theme. It might not apply. Again just reboot the box. These issues only happen when first using EmulationStation."

So it happens that my screen doesn't fit even after the third, the fourth and so on reboots. I've already tried to delete all the files and start over again, but it still shows the emulationstation frontend bigger than my screen. Is there any possibility to fix this by my own? Is there any configuration to modify?

    Thank you very much.

    ----- EDIT

I've already solved this problem. Just switched resolution from 720p to 1080p and it works as it should right now.

Or is it the same update ...

    Thanks in advance.
Yeah. I have been updating it over the last few days. I am finished now. So any time past after *this* post has been posted will be the latest (I only finished uploading it about 30mins ago)

With the latest update you will need to delete the emulator.tools.32bitlibs add-on before installing/extracting the NEW package.

Update. Added a huge amount of new cores. Not all of them tested but the few I tried worked fine (see first post for all cores).
Updated and removed any libs that are not in use (if you are going to install this update over an already installed version, remove the lib folder from emulator.tools.32bitlibs first).

    Same instructions to install.

PS. a Nintendo DS core has been added. Its a bit laggy but I think with some setting up it could run OK (also the default theme for it has no logos. The other themes are fine)

Updated the EmulationStation + RetroArch package. Edited the RetroArch settings so it uses "hw:0,0" for the audio (needed for LibreELEC 8. For 7 revert back to "hw:0,1").
    Use same link to update.

Also added Atari ST/hatari core (untested)

I do not have audio in retroarch and emulastation on mini mx witch libreelec 8.0.2a
Edit: Solved, but I do not manage to save the configuration
Edit: Already I managed it to solve, it was for a bad configuration in retroarch.

No, they wouldn't work at all, but I managed to recompile a version of libreELEC with the correct lib files needed, then I just copied them over to my original build and everythings working and up to date.

It's bizarre as I've copied over lib files etc previously but never worked.
