AlexELEC does an S805 version. So everything needed he has. You would just have to replace the EmulationStation and RetroArch binaries with the ones from the AlexELEC build then run the binaries via CLI to see what libs it is missing and what doesn't work.

I don't own a S805 device and have no plans on getting one. So wouldn't be able to do a build for it as I would have no way to test it..

Just tested on a MK808B Plus and both EmulationStation & RetroArch make LibreElec restart..This is also uses the S805 chip.

that makes sense i suppose. i did do a manual search for "Kung" just in case it would find it but it returned plenty of kung-fu related games, just not that one. the game itself plays flawlessly though which is great, although using the d-pad is rather awkward ..

the only slight hiccup is that the scraper doesn't seem to want to find the metadata for 'Kung Fu Master' for Mame. I've installed some N64 roms as well as some ZX Spectrum games and they've scraped just fine - just not MAME stuff yet.
Its due to the arcade roms having shorten names they need to be converted so they look like this: https://github.com/thadmiller/ES-scr...r/mame4all.txt

I am looking into solutions. I am even thinking of getting a scraper that starts scraping as you open EmulationStation and runs in the background. I need to run some tests.

    #EDIT

Seems the easiest thing would be if niabi could include these databases in EmulationStation (if it can be done that is)

    screenscraper.fr
    mamedb.blu-ferret.co.uk

Thanks to both pinguy and niabi for all the hard work that's gone into this. It's great to get Acestream running on LibreElec on these boxes, it's also really nice to see Retropie working so well.

my Rpi2 will now get setup to run Openhab

Thanks for reporting back, Because of your comment I have updated all the controller config files as they where out of date. The update included a few new controllers. So thank you for pointing that out.
