You can copy remote config from orginal firmware then put it in the device if you want to use stock remote.
Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

Any links on how to get the original firmware off one of the stock devices ? Or is it something I need to try and find on the web ?

I have the unpacker app to unpack the .img file, just not sure how to get it off the device.

I havent see it there. If you have device can. With root copy from system /Ect folder and then just put on device same directory. Post photo and remote config on link above for others if you do find.

Will give it a shot, and will certainly post in the remote list for everyone if I get it. Thanks.

UPDATE: used the Android app "Total Commander" to copy the remote.conf file listed here http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...547#post640547 onto the Alfawise 3GB/32GB DDR4 box that I installed SuperCelerons "normal Android" firmware onto, and the stock remote now works. Thanks scooter2014.

I have the exact same "H96-S912-TVBOX(DDR4)-V0.2" as Kevin Flynn and I also have the same "power off hang" problem.
I thought that flashing the GT1 Ultimate SCV1 standard would solve that problem, but no. After flashing I still can't reboot, the box just powers off and I have to remove the power supply and plug it back in.
I have figured out that powering it through the USB next to power supply the box works fine and the reboot acts as it should.
Is this the normal behaviour of the box? Is my power supply faulty?

First would like to say thanks for all the great info, flashed my system without any issue. Just need help on 2 items. 1st (probably silly question) how do you enable root access on this ROM and 2nd I went into TWRP to flash the WIFI fix and it fails to install, get error code 7. Any help is appreciated...

Update: found how to enable Root Just need help on the WIFI zip install

Go into settings and enable root. I dont know about stock rom but in supers works.

Enable cec I never use power off just reset. Most boxes have issues doing power down and dont come back so I ve always used cec so once powered down tv shuts off. But most times i just never shut off not like its a power grabber.

Tried it a couple of times , re-downloaded it... placed it on internal as well as sd card... This is what i get in TWRP:

Edit: These are the steps I did:
                      Boot into TWRP
                      Select Install
                      Find the Zip and install

It can only be used with supercelerons firmware..... I never tried with anything else.. I also think each version has one. Ddr4 and ddr3 and standard android and atv so have to use correct one for each. Is it new box maybe they change fricking wifi again???? Can you post build prop?

You are flashing the ATV (Android TV) Wi-Fi fix over the standard SC firmware. Download the Wi-Fi fix for the standard version.

                                Hello.

I am a bit frustrated, about the h96 pro + 32 gb with ddr4 from my friend.
Personally I use my flashed (with burncard maker) h96 pro 32gb ddr3, with super celeron 1.(works great)
That was the good old days, with one device and one rom... now more roms, more (partwise false) postings & infos.
My own ddr3 box is working very well, but i`ve killed my friend`s ddr4 first box.
Now I got a replaced, fresh one and I dont want to kill the second box... :-)

Its very complicated to get thrusted infos about a working rom for the DDR4 version.
                                Will the GT1 rom work on a h96pro+ 32gb ddr4, or not?
In the forums are very different infos about the flashing methods.
With the SD Card tool (burn card maker), some body says, remove the "erase boot" option, other guys
tells the opposite... thats horrible. If i not erase the boot block, maybe the Image can not start well.
If i kill the bootblock, maybe i can never flash the box und its dead, too... thats horrible.

And every body tells: connect your USB cable to the PC, and use the usb burning tool...
Sounds great and simple... But in what Port I have to connect it?
                                Into the original USB ports?
And in case of original ports, in a fixed? Into one of the 2 hidden ports? Or into any one, of the 4?
Or I have to solder a cable onto the mainboard?
If a regular port is working, how I have to connect it to the PC?
With a regular Cable it is not possible, because a standart cable has got type a male to male type b.
or type a male to type a female. or type a male to usb mini male.

Nobody tells exactly what Cable is to use in what port.
I have got 2 spezial adapters in my boxes.
One type a male to male and one type a female to female. (see photo)
Looks good, but what about the lines?
Is it 1-1,2-2,3-3,4-4 or some lines crossing?

                                Thank you.

                                Dirk
