Ugoos UT6 full 1080p firmware install on Scishion V88 with working wifi

How did you fix the problem with Wi-Fi on Ugoos 1.2.0? I just installed patch2 but the Wi-Fi did not work, another annoying thing was that the blue LED OFF function (I loved this option) disappeared opting to apply the patch. Please tell me how you did, you're giving me a job to find it all on me! XD

I just installed the v1.2 and used the WiFi patch provided here. Worked straight away, though it has messed with a few other things as I said. Maybe you have yet another WiFi chip?

So ... I ended up going to the forum 4PDA in search of more information and downloaded the rknand version from there, I thought it would be the same thing, I wanted to install what I downloaded there to make sure I would not have a brick box. I did, with version 1.2.0 of Ugoos Firmware, I installed TWRP 3.0.1 via Terminal Emulator using the rknand_recovery option.

Then I installed patchssv6051p2.zip and reboot, but I could not connect Wi-Fi. Then I downgraded to Ugoos Firmware version 1.1.1, installed TWRP 3.0.1 and then patchssv6051p2.zip, cleaned the date and cache , As soon as I started and put the Wi-Fi worked, but for a long time, I think I rebooted the box and could not turn Wi-Fi on.

I do not know what went wrong, but apart from leaving the device very strange, the Wi-Fi did not call anymore. I ended up giving up and installed version 5.1.1 for the A95X R1 device. But this is not a very cool firmware, to know a better one please let me know.

I have the Scishion V88 Plus and whenever i try and flash this firmware, it fails on the check firmware part.

Can someone tell me if I am doing something wrong?

The UT6 rom is not compatible with the V88 plus, only the V88.

Only use the TWRP version listed on the OP. I have not gotten the 4PDA versions to work with this mod.

Do you know of a rom other than the standard rom that is compatible with the V88 Plus? Mine keeps going into bootloop.

What is the colour of your A/V & SPDIF ports ?
V88 with A/V & SPDIF ports orange = firmware with bootloader 2.31 is working on it (firmware with bootloader 2.32 working fine too)
V88 with A/V & SPDIF ports black = firmware with bootloader 2.32 is working on it (firmware with bootloader 2.31 not working)

If you read well my post and post of "rcp" you understand that problem is only with file "TWRP recovery.img"

I installed without problems Ugoos UT6 Firmware and work well (yes, I have V88 with A/V & SPDIF ports orange) only problem is that I does not know how to flash TWRP... sure it's a problem software on PC because TWRP.img need to be loaded by AndroidTool also if TV Box is still not connected.. it's software trouble on PC, something that's not right and I miss what..


I ask help to persons that Installed "TWRP recovery.img" on V88.......... what software on PC you used? Version exact? Did you used "TWRP recovery.img" dowloaded in first page? Can you give basic instructions?

I have tested TWRP but after 10 secondes my TV screen became green.
Best way is to download the zip.
Extract it.
Copy with x-plore or es-explorer files in the system directory to your /system
give right to folders and files (open META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script to see the rights to give)
and flash kernelV88_6.img (kernel partition) & bootssv6051p.img (partition) with rk android tool
