Had this problem with my Eris

Was the biggest driving force for me to do my first root a couple years back, lucky for me it was a very painless procedure. I found that if you delete the /data/system/batterystats.bin, reboot, then follow the bump charge procedure a few times it would get your full life back. It even talked about doing the bump procedure (didn't call it that, but that is what it is) in the user sheet that came in the phone.
Note, you should only need to do the drain and bump procedure a few times to get it back up on par with the rest of us. I can play games + surf on my stock one for many hours before I even have to think about looking at the battery.

(FYI, this has been known to get people in trouble when they flash ROM's too since you need to go through this every time you flash (well unless it is a test run, then you should be OK)

FYI most tablets tpoday have Lipo's (Lithium Polymer) in them not LIon (Lithium Ion) batteries. You do not need to do full cycles on Lipo batteries as they do not have memory issues like nicad or LIon.

I let mine go till it shut off from power loss, then charged for 10-12 hours. Did this at least twice. I'm curious what most are getting? It's one reason I love this tablet. My velocity cruz couldn't get through the night on standby. Always had to plug it in.
        Hello!

I did, but probably didn't run it through enough charge/discharge cycles to satisfy it. Will do it again - 10-12 times this go-round, perhaps. The clock also runs slower than it ought to; maybe I have a sub-par battery inside it.

          Status Update?

First, thanks to all who are working on the PMID701C PolaDroid custom ROM, there been a lot of posts about it, but most of it too technologically advanced for me, so I was wondering if someone could post a status update, thanks.

            Update

            Status update.

A Stock ROM has been built using dumps from a *fresh* un-edited pmid701c and the SYS_CONFIG files from the ONDA ROM. This ROM does not boot when flashed via live suite BUT another forum user has reported to get it working via Clockwork Recovery Mod. I just got that info out of my inbox right now. More very soon...

              Status on Stock rom

Actually, I fixed that earlier last night haha. It uses all stock imgs, so it does have the Polaroid bootscreen. I am working on the live suite flashable rom now, I should have it by the end of the day if all goes well.
