On the RKBatchtool there is an update button and a restore button. Use restore to flash.

Well...if the stock firmware won't boot....I'm not sure what else to try.

            Let me think about it.

It might be time to contact the vendor.

As a last resort, you can open the case and short the pins on your NAND chip. [It isn't just that simple...you need instructions, that I don't have...immediately]

This will completely erase your NAND.

Sorry, I haven't ever done this...so if you don't mind searching the forums for the instructions on how to unbrick a Rockchip device. I save this as a last resort.

It is very late, here...so I can do some more research on this tomorrow and get back to you, if you can't find the instructions...but I'm sure it is here on Freaktab somewhere.

This way, you can at least get back to stock firmware...and we can see about getting a custom ROM for you.

                  Good luck!!!!

Before we try to perform surgery on your tablet, there is one thing you can try that I've heard will recover. Try flashing the stock firmware multiple times...eventually it might work.

Otherwise, we will have to go the other route.

I haven't seen any firmware updates for the Older PCB, sorry.

One thing you might try is using the kernel from this ROM, and flash it with the most recent New PCB ROM. I'm not sure if everything will work, but you might get some improvement in performance.

I know RileyROM is up to 2.0, but this is last one with "old pcb version" in its title.

I have also thought about it, but I'm not sure what can happens if upgrade fails

If I am not wrong, the only thing I have to do is to copy "kernel.img" from 1.6 to 2.0 and reflash again.

EDIT: After doing that, M9 device boots but wifi cannot be enabled.
