    Yes, that's the procedure.

If you get a boot loop or something, just press the reset with a paperclip and use the manual procedure for getting into flash mode. http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ual-Flash-Mode

As I put in my previous post, all went ok but it is impossible to enable wifi. I can tap wifi button but it return inmediatly to Off position. Moreover... Why an activation window appears on startup?

The new Pipo Launcher that looks like Windows 8 requires activation via wifi.

So it's better to use the other one included in RileyROM, isnt it?

Is it possible to extract all drivers from old firm and test one by one in newer firmware until everything works well?? As i know, wifi and display drivers are different.

I plan on switching all of the driver modules over from the old ROM to the new one and I'll send you a system.img to test. If that doesn't work, we will move on to the next step.

OK, we'll see how this goes.

I just downloaded the OLD PCB ROM from the server and extracted the system.img from it.

Let me mount both system.img files and I'll copy the files to this new system.

I'll upload to my Google Drive and you can download it and run it with the v2.0 kit. I'll start with the lib/modules. If that works, we are done. If not, I'll move on to the other wifi stuff.

                Stay tuned for a link.

OK, kernel.img should be old-pcb one or newest one?

You will need to use the kernel from the old PCB ROM.

If you use the stock recovery.img, move it over to the new ROM, too. It contains the kernel for the OLD PCB. If you are using CWM, do worry about it.

Everything else needs to be from the new ROM.

So, files I have to use would be:

                      parameter: new
                      misc: new
                      kernel: old
                      boot: new
                      recovery: old
                      system: file you are building

                        That's correct.

I'm uploading now to my Google Drive. There isn't any feedback on my screen, so I don't know how much longer it will take. As soon as it finishes, I'll post the link.

                              Flashed!

Device boots into CWM based recovery 6.0.3.1. I push power button and device reboots.
Custom splash screen is displayed, showing v1.6.
Then pipo animation appears, and device turns on correctly.

I select language, change timezone, keeps en_apk_install marked (dont know what exactly it is), and tap "done"

I go to Setting and...YES, wifi turns on like a charm!!!

                              About info:

                              v: 4.2.2
                              kernel: 3.0.36+ root@lzj-desktop #95 Mon May 27 14:13:24 CST 2013
                              compilation: rk30sdk-eng 4.2.2 JDQ39 eng.root.20131018.164926 test-keys

Where is placed product key? I have tried to write serial no. to activate launcher but it failed
I will keep testing some more features and will come back with results.

Well, the Pipo Launcher may not work on your Old PCB tablet...the key code is transmitted via wifi to Pipo based on the device serial number...so that may be a no go. I can easily delete that if it keeps nagging you.

Check out the multi-window function in the settings and see if it activates.

Also, check to see if mult-user works by adding a user (in settings).
