And i suspect than erase IDB, it's too possible - but i'm not sure :

./rkflashtool e 0x00 0x2000

The README file quote : "rkflashtool e offset size erase flash (fill with 0xff)"

An expert to confirm-it?

If my understanding is good, a perl script 'rksp' exist.
It's contains both sub processus :
- 1) nammed 'eraseIDB' : this write, by blocks (512 octets) * 8192, the character 'chr(255)' - a bit full to 1 - in offset 0x0, and size 0x2 -
- 2) and immediatly after, another nammed 'writeIDB' : this write a file parameter crc - result with tool rkcrc ...
For the auteur, certainly, is egual to 'Erase NAND(IDB)' !

To confirm !?
