Try EraseFlash in AndroidTool v2.35 and then Upgrade/Update, don't use RKBatchtool.
If still not working you have to enter MaskROM mode by shorting some EMMC pins on the chip and open the box.

Hi, if I could leave a recommendation here, I would never use AndroidTool, if you are a beginner, it is best to avoid this tool. It's not that I know more than the developer, on the contrary, I'm a noob, but I've done about 20 firmware changes in my current Box, and I've already made another hundred flashes of my old Android phones and I have a little experience .

AndroidTool is for the Rockchip SoCs, the same as the SP Flash Tool is for the MediaTek SoCs. Truly the best and software for device recovery, but, on the other hand, is the most dangerous. When you use wrong options, many bad things can happen and if you do not know a difficult sketch efficiency method, it means that your device will be lost.

Missing on the device panel was not for everyone, some end up not getting and getting worse. I have seen in one of the older forums that it is possible to make a microsd card with boot. It would be a better option to reduce the frame, but I do not know if this option works for RK3229. Then I'll try to set one up for testing, if it works, I can post it on the forum for the guys to redo.

Well, let's conclude from the subject, I really wanted to be able to help the guy who put his device on bricks, but I think he already erased a difficult partition. What I can say is that sometimes it happens that the USB port disconnects for some reason, the time it expires and gives this error in RKBatchTool, it may also happen that the "Restore" option does not work.

Maybe this error suggested after blinking from Firmware 6.0 to V88 and then blinking unsupported firmware. If you were just using the "Restore" option, leave it away, it stops blinking from Android 6.0 to V88. Maybe the reason for this is the Boot version of this firmware, which is 2.32, the majority is 2.31.

When it happened to me, I was really scared, but I already have a little experience on it, after a few attempts to get red status, I used the "update" option and the flash was fast. Sometimes you get into a few bugs, maintain patience, uninstall and reinstall the drivers, replace the USB cable or simply try again, it may be the solution

Just rectifying, AndroidTool is a great tool, but sometimes it may not be a good choice for beginners, as they say, great powers comes with great responsibilities. Ha excuse my lousy English, and the huge text above, I think I could not explain better with fewer words.

What firmware was before you got this error, and what firmware are you trying to get? Ever tried reinstalling the drivers? With it already happened to show green, the time to expire and to turn red, this happens because the device connected correctly to the PC and RKBATCHTOOL recognized, but then the device disconnects, you put to start, the program can not send anything to the device and generates This error, which usually takes some time to be displayed. Another common error occurs when you install Android MM for V88 and the Restore (Format + Flash) option generates an immediate error.

                Hi zipasi

If you have already tried everything, already changed the base firmware that is using, and nothing worked the ideal is to go to MaskROM mode, guided by mo123, I attached a Ugoos tutorial for you to take a look, but attention, DO NOT USE the same ones Pins. To avoid bigger problems you can post the photo of your EMMC here and someone, maybe the mo123 will talk about which pins make the short.

                Good Luck.

Did you make the circuit on these pins? Who told you these were? Does your Box turn on any LEDs?

With RKBATCHTOOL it is possible to understand the state of the Box, when you connect and displays green status, it means that your box is fit for Normal Flash mode, when it stays Blue means you must do the MaskROM process.
