Thanks, this is fun for me, and here I am learning a lot from Bob and all the staff here.
About the wifi bug, lets expect if imito can fix it. This stick is working very fast for me, wifi signal and stability is great with the external antenna, if we got the fix for wifi reboot and we got a functional wifi driver and Mali hw acceleration for ubuntu we will enjoy with a great device, real 1080p ui works great.

While I'm waiting for my Ipegtop A2, which (I hope) is a QX1 clone and (I hope) will arrive one day (http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...not-Ipegtop-A2) let me ask one question about this stutter/jitter fix:

My ex-stick was mk808 which is known as "jitter-free". The problem is that playing any video on it is far away from smooth (even SD). Freaktab forum community gave the name for it: microstuttering.

For someone who has experience with mk808 and owns QX1 also: Is this mk808 microstuttering still present on QX1? Because if it is, and if playing video (at least SD) is not creamy-smooth, then all rk3188 based devices would become hopeless again and I will (again) return my nearly 10 years old set-top-box which plays SD perfect...

OK my ROM is done. I will await a new ROM from Imito per Geekbuying before I release this.

I also must do a lot of updates to the readme.txt.

I expect to release this ROM this week.

I have to work tomorrow and also my Sciatic Nerve (look it up if you don't know) is giving me fits today. While better than a month ago, it is still giving me issues.

Anyway, I told you all the QX1 was next and I will work hard to make you all a much needed ROM

Great work! Based on this news, I pulled the trigger on an Imito QX1. I will immediately put the Finless Rom + Leolas' 1080P overclocked kernel on it!


Is it easy to put this device in flash mode? The button on my Uhost2 was a pain in the butt.

OK so I found it. In my edited build.prop I was using a Google signature of 4.1.1 for the Samsung release keys. I removed that, which will cause some app compatibility, but it caused a different version of Netflix to be downloaded. BINGO... no frame skipping!

Shit... I hope I have not been causing this problem all along with my build.prop edits and 4.2.2!

Anyway, expect new ROM soon now. Just have to do a little more testing.

It worked great before for opening up more APPs on Google Play as the keys used is one of the most popular devices on Google Play. Thats why I used it. But it seems things have changed from a year ago

Will this be included in the latest imito rom with the usb audio support?

Using my kernel you must have usb audio suppott.

Sorry folks.... Yesterday was my birthday so I was out. Only a little time today too.

I am redoing my ROM based on the latest iMito release with the USB audio fix.

It will be this weekend for sure. Probably Sunday AM.

Seems that we share in qx1 the same official developer that Minix X7. Today I got for some time my cousing network and I downloaded the new rom from imito, I wondered why stock X7 rom has a 8189es.ko, well, now is more clear, whe have a cutted X7 version of the same rom, no menu for shutdown, no suspend, no airpin, the rest is basically the same. Calls in boot.img to files that not are there (there is not in x7 too) and same problem at reboot: sdio card don't support the actual voltages. There are a new module for prealloc some buffers I don't know his funtion. And the wifi module has all the dmesg full of trash by the wifi module.
