ok guys here is the latest android 4.2.2
i took the latest rikomagic rom from 22 july 2013

you have now the screenshot app on the taskbar.
you can activate this app in settings now.
cwm recovery is also added.


i changed the default parameter to 4 gig for app space.
no more special snakekiller themes in the rom.
its just like the stockrom now.
because more and more people want the stock look.

for netflix people use this netflix

what to do if you flashed the rom.

first what you see is the cwm page.
it has many errors like E cant mount blablabla.
thats normal just press REBOOT NOW.


when its booted you can choose from 3 launchers .
choose one and click always.

now go to SETTINGS/STORAGE.
mount the internal sd.
now you see it must be formated.
format it .
after format is the internal sd in used.

after this do a reboot.
and your stick is ready.
if you now use the REBOOT app.
and click to REBOOT RECOVERY.
you wil see that cwm does not have errors anymore.
and fully works.
have fun with the new rom.

for people who don't like the stock mouse pointer here is another one.

this is the new mouse pointer

flash this with cwm recovery and you have the new mouse pointer.

some people ask for flash the whole rom with cwm.
so i made a cwm flash zip.
so you must have cwm recovery for using this.
If you use a stockrom or another rom, you must use the flashtool for flashing my rom instead off the cwm rom zip.
Once you did that ,you can reflash the rom in the future with the cwm rom zip

F.Y.I.

Before you flash the cwm rom ,take first in cwm erase dalvik cache etc.
Sow that the existing rom is clean like you just flashed it
Than flash the rom

If you have a stockrom for recovery.
Then try and see if it works

this is a private mesage i got from the user NEODOOM who's installed the new rom already.

this is his opinion for the new version

ok i have updated this one is working very nicly so far installed all my little apps and settings this version i can use the advanced task killer and watching a movie seems smoother when dealing with lots of the screen moving and im glad to see the clean stock ui you are the man!!! i would say good to go public! wifi is much faster in this rom than the last one using speed tests app and as i said about the last rom ether the factory fixed the stability issue or your setting somthing just right!

is cwm installed or is it stock recovery and if it is does rom manager work with this rom?

i declair this the best mk802iiis bt firmware to date!!!

Quick to boot , smooth and fast.

Looks quite nice with the visual changes.
Hate the mouse pointer but that's stock ugly and not snake fault.

Unfortunaly plex and netflixs are broken in this rom like all 4.2 roms for the RK3066.

i found this see if this netflix works.

Funny too because on Feb 5, 2013 Netflix announced an update for 4.2.2 support. But for some reason it does not work on the MK808 models with JB 4.2.2.
So I found that the previous version of Netflix 2.0.2 works fine!
So here you go, fix netflix now ,download this:
Download -> Netflix 2.0.2 version (10 megs)

Now you must go into settings and apps and uninstall the current version. Then unzip this download to your SDcard and install this 2.0.2 version.

Netflix works with the older version thanks.

Finless bob thinks its a drm issue i believe.

Plex doesn't work unless you use a pre 3.0 versions like 2.5.4.7 and you can only use 720p res.
Or the new plex and set it to use a external player.

Fortunately ehomemedia can see the plex server and plays basically everything darn near perfectly.
Downside it doesn't show movie artwork
Have to find another udnp browser that fits the bill.

Mouse pointer still ugly as piss (what was rikomagic thinking)..lol

Should blend nicely with the modding you done.

Both should work fine.

Its a modded stock so the remote should still work and i had no issues with BT working.

Well i have the same problem with the stock i had bluetooth.
And with all the custom romsi tried, i had wiffi but no bluetooth .(neomode or finless)
But even with the original stock rom for the ug007ii i downloaded no bt also.
So my conclussion now is we have exact the same stick.
And the stockrom that came with the stick had something diverence for bt.
