    Thanks.

30c idle and 32c after stress test in Antutu on my Gold TX92. This one has a much more superior heatsink so might run without fan.
30c idle and 48c after stress test on my Silver TX92. Might put a fan on this one due to the less superior aluminium heatsink.

Had to use another app to get the CPU temp cuz Antutu seems to only report on Battery Temp which is always reported by the box as 42degrees.
Nice and cool for anything i want to throw at it.... best of all no heat throttling.

Decided to install better cooling into both of my units... with northbridge heatsink / fans that i could salvage.

The silver one will get a 40cm fan install soon. Decided not to the use internal headers for 3V to power by 5V fans, since they don't switch off when unit is off. Only the rear USB 5V ones switch off when unit is powered down.

Any idea what apps i could use to stress test it to see what the max temp is after doing this mod?

Hi all i just brough a Vontar Tx92 its exactly the same as the tanix, everything working great apart from i use Titanium backup to backup / restore apps to the box.
I can restore fine but cannot backup as TB cannot write to the storage. This is because i cannot select document provider storage because files.apk is missing from the rom, when trying to select documents provider storage it just restarts TB. I downloaded files v7.1.1 and v7.1.2 from apok mirror and installed them, still no luck, when selecting documents provider storage it opens files for a second then closes and TB restarts.

Has anyone got a fix for this ? Has anybody been able to use TitaniumBackup completely ?
Are there any good custom roms for this box i could use ?

There are newer and better ROMS on this site.

We have discussed this in the past.
You need to remove it manually and install the apk of the newer Kodi.

The only problem that I have with this Rom is that I can't wipe anything from TWRP.
I get mounting errors, but it doesn't allow me to mount anything.

This is what I'm running. In my opinion the best solution for our box.
