with netflix I do not know .... I see streaming movies gratis in full hd with kodi

So how's wifi working out for you with that firmware? Does it crash when attempting to use a custom home launcher app (e.g., Nova Launcher)

I'm having trouble getting my H96 Pro dongle into recovery mode. It's stuck in a boot loop, and after spending a day looking for a reset button to hold I had to give up and can't find anything on the web either.

Any have any advice? Thanks in advance.

I managed to get firmware installed using usb burning tool before reading your post.

Essentially, i just imported the firmware, hit start and plugged the device into the computer and it worked. I did not press and hold the reset button at all. Everything seems to be working but now the device crashes and stutters frequently. Maybe this is because i did not follow this process correctly?

I just bought this dongle, it has last official fw : aml_7.1_s912_q8723bs-H96PRO-dongle_KDMC_mac-20170810.img. The dongle has a lot of problems: first of all a terrible WIFI, short range and instable, second it keeps on crashing almost everywhere, also some deadly hangs.
Just to be sure, I reflashed OK the above firmware, but nothing changed.
A part the wifi problem that seems to be hardware, is there any more reliable firmware to flash ?
Can you give me a list of FW that correctly fit this stupid dongle to try ?

Tried 1027-T95ZPLUS-4335&6330-v6.
It's badder and badder, google play always keeps on crashing, totally unusuable.

After T95zPlus install, I wanted to revert back to stock firmware, but usb burning tool didn't recognize any more the dongle.
Here I found another fault: the reset switch was broken and also pressing it didn't close the circuit.
I had to solder a piece of wire in parallel to the switch and it made contact very well and the dongle was recognized again. What a piece of shit !
Sorry guys but I abandon this project, it's a total mess......

apart from the launcher, I have no major problems with this dongle.
But I would like to be able to make a copy of the firmware installed on the dongle!
It's possible?
From what I read It seems that the firmwares downloaded from the internet worsen the situation!

other problem:
I finally managed to change the launcher, I put microsoft launcher, which is the only launcher that does not stop.
But the problem is when I put the background through the gallery, I get out the error "com.android.walpapercropper.com" has crashed abnormally.
Instead when I put the background through microsoft launcher, then when I restart the dongle back without a background ..... black screen.
Is there a way to solve this hitch?

Ok the Microsoft launcher is one of the few that works the only one, flaw that at every start of the dongle you have to set the background manually .....

Hi all, as I have free time, I have improved the temperature of ( H96 PRO Dongle 2Gb/16Gb ).

( In my room, it was 21,0°C or 69,8°F )

at the launch of H96 PRO Dongle, I start the temperature at ( 27° or 80,6°F ).

After 2 hours of use ( video youtube 1080P, 4K, ect, ... ), the maximum is ( 48° or 118,4°F ).

With the customrom of "superceleron", it is a real little wonder, now.

What heatsink is that? So i can do the same thing, looks nice. I'm looking at heatsinks on AliExpress right now and can't find anything like yours. What is the size?

Could someone tell me the max size heatsink you could fit on there? I'm thinking of cutting between the ventilation holes and removing the middle plastic.

I've read through this thread and have seen this question, but don't see a definite answer. Is there a compatible firmware that allows for a USB ethernet adapter to be used as well as Bluetooth? I have the h96 pro H2 2/16. Thanks
