While flashing, is your box connected to the power supply? If not, try to connect it.

Not connected, as per video on Youtube. Also Erase flash and Erase bootloader are checked ON as in video, not OFF as described by others on this forum? I therefore tried to do it connected to power as you said. I had first turned off the GT1 but left it connected to power. Then when I tried to flash after pressing reset button and then connecting the USB the USB Burning Tool would never connect to the PC. I then disconnected the power cord to the GT1 and then the USB Burning Tool does connect to the PC. ** Then strangely when I pressed Start the burn process completed 100% in just over 3 minutes. Whether the process of connecting and disconnecting power cord was reason for the burn process working or not I don't know - but at least I have now got Nougat on the GT1 and new firmware.
