    Hi Randy,
Sorry if I make you confuse. I tried to find the rom which have the audio support for webcam chat. And only rom k-r42 1.2.0 which is recommended by lewy20041 worked. Is it due to the original kernel?

    Thanks,

      Ugoos UT1?

      Ok.

Does wifi work on that kernel? I couldn't get that ROM to boot on my device.

See if you can boot this beta rom with that kernel and see what happens.

use kernel from 1.2.0 for usb audio.
but you will have constant reboots.
its kind of drm thing so you need to stick with k-r42 firmware.
        its not my idea;p

Yes, everything works quite well. Have to reboot sometimes due to the error "Unfortunately, Gallery has stopped" if I need to use the usb audio. And I can't use the remote as it's for UT1.

            Ugoos UT1?

Ok...it sounds like you have a unique application for this device.

I will stick with the stock kernel in my rom, though...but refer others who need USB audio to try this. Yes it is a solution, but not necessarily ready for prime time...I see some support headaches going that route.

I appreciate your testing of this and keep me posted on your experience. I have plenty to learn about TV boxes.

Does UT1 come with Xbmc player pre-installed? If not, how to install it ? Please give details.

I disassemble my Ugoos UT1 lastnight (just bought it from China mainland whatever)

The dealer told me that he can give me a good price if i take the Ugoos UT1, not the Kaiboer F4.
He said that Ugoos UT1 is for export only, no retail in China.
But I believe that Ugoos UT1 will be same structure as Kaiboer F4.

Actually, The K-R42(CS-918) in China mainland has 2 kind of stock
Genuine vs OEM, retail price was difference around RMB 80~100 (rmb470 vs rmb380)

Is the processor with or without heat sink?
