I applied this and updated SU from Playstore. When I let SU reboot the device, it stuck on the Android animation. I did this twice with the same results. I dropped back to 0722. For those who have issues with the USB Flash program not finding the key file for this device. The flash tool posted here works: https://quickfileshare.org/LI/NEW_USB_Burning_Tool.zip

Updating SU can be an issue with A7 on many boxes, boot loop.

Hi, I've also updated SU (20170722 level), and the device didn't boot. Now I cannot enter into recovery mode. toothpick method did't work. Just the 4 android animation in every boot. I've tried, boot sd card, boot uSB in every USB slot, USB burnig Tool. Please help. I didn't know if hardware error or not. I'v never try entering recovery mode before. What is the normal way with this device (R-TV Box S10) I found reset button, feel the klick, powering up while presssing it, but nothing happened.

You will have to re-flash 0722. I put a comment on the Geekbuying web page on this issue.

Thank you for the answer! My problem is I cannot enter to recover mode. Pushing the reset button with a toothpick while connecting the power result only the endless android load loop.

Inserting 2G SD card created by Burn Card Maker 2.02 from file jnw_s912_ui01_r-tvbox-s10_9377_mac_20170722.img formatted FAT.
There are 3 files on disk:

        aml_sdc_burn.ini
        aml_sdc_burn.UBOOT
        jnw_s912_ui01_r-tvbox-s10_9377_mac_20170722.img

Push reset button in a hole (click), not releasing
        Connect power
        "S10" on the sreen
        Black screen
        Android loading four ball
        Release the reset button.
        Sadly try again

        Is this sequence are correct?

        Am I bricked the device?

No. Use the USB Burning tool. One that works with this S10 is downloadable here (along with instructions): https://www.entertainmentbox.com/how...-burning-tool/.

Using the SD burner app will not get you around this boot loop.

No.. Your device is not bricked...

I'm using the one for alfawise.. Love it, but the remote doesn't work.. How can I replace the map with the one I extracted from the original firmware?

New here normally I can get my head round these things but my S10 is stuck on boot up I can get into the recovery mode but factory reset just does the same and wont boot.
so I thought I would update the firmware and hope that that would work ( I have done this loads of times on other boxes via sdcard usb or connected to pc via a usb a to usb c cable ) however there is no usb c on my s10 just 4 usb a slots how do I install the firmware all the tuts on here and elsewhere states to use the usb tool but I cant as don't know how connect it to my box or do I need a USB A to USB A cable?
                  many thanks in advance.

I always use the second port next to where the pin goes in....first toothpick/pin.. Then USB.. Then power adapter.. That works for me... Goodluck
