Nice grammar, corrected it for you though. Free of charge my good friend.

But lets take your attempt at critique and plop it into the context of this thread. I assume you think you are pointing out the difference between a motorbike and a motorcycle? well it is down to opinion on that so have a read at the bottom of this post.

They actively advertise the compatability. That is they say its a Motorbike when it is actually a Motorcycle. See ? I am sure you understand my point now.

"Bike originated as the word bicycle, so technically "bike" is "bicycle". However the makeup of the word bicycle is "bi", meaning 2, and "kuklos", meaning "circle" (from the Greeks). Assuming this definition, the contacted word "bike" could mean any structure that has 2 circles, or more strictly anything that has 2 wheels. Therefore, "bike" can mean "bicycle" or "motorcycle" depending on format and usage."

Consider where you are. "Bike" is more likely to mean "bicycle" in the United States than it is to mean "motorcycle." The word "cycle" is used most often in the form "cycling," which is a shortened form of "bicycling," meaning the sport of riding a self-propelled two-wheeled vehicle.

Re: What is the point of RK3188?

That will change soon of after, there are some manufacturers and shops that are trying to give support. They need to madure to reach occidental support, but they are starting.

At this time I have finless 1.7 rom a little modded in my mk808b with a antenna mod, max cpu speed locked at 1008, max download speed reached in ttorrent was 1,4MB/s download 500kb/s upload, I don't use any network server, my 6 years daughter play pow and hangry birds and see some animations in YouTube too. She use other cheap air mouse to manage it (she doesn't like the touchpads). This replace my htpc with an amd athlon xp 1700 overclocked and I didn't miss it.

the hardware is more then capable just is gonna need some major work on the kernel to get it up to speed
AS did the RK3088 when it was released the nice thing here is that the only change from the RK3088 to the 3188 is the addition of 2 cpu cores and two gpu cores

No, I don't use Netflix, nor xbcm. Xbcm in android is bugged yet, do you know any Android device who runs Xbmc flawlessly? My Xperia S, my Toshiba Folio 100 and my sticks, anyone can't, or at least I can't got it working, and Netflix is not supported in Spain so I don't use it.
I use my minipc for what I said you, mayor use is download from ttorrent my favorite series. Almost all at 720p, I use mxplayer to play them and play really good and es explorer like my filemanager.

I cant say if there are others working flawlessly as I havent tried all devices but I can confirm 100% of the ones I have tried have had problems.

I think xbmc is a great proyect, it works very well in Linux and in the xbox, but it needs to mature in android.

I have a (rk3188) imito qx1 and it perfoms very well. Netflix and mediahouse pro (dlna) is what I use most of the time. I just watched Crank 2 in 1080p over wifi (dlna).

Some pretty funny stuff here guys. Motorcycle s n ashtrays. My YW9300 works great right out of the box. Its fast and plays xbmc without any glitches. Its never froze or crashed. I've never updated the firmware and its made in China. There is no excuse for the others not to offer the same quality. Look out for the big players coming soon. Samsung Homesync.Huawei Mediaq etc etc

Strongly agree with you m8. Clearly some manufacturers/suppliers are better than others then.

No point having Quad Core if it cant perform the simplest functions i.e. Netflix/XMBC.

I might try and send back the CX-919 and get one of your YW9300. Will need to go read up on them now.

A simple translation to save people to have to use Google translator, Well I am not agree. They make products, we can choose to buy or not to buy.
Please let me tell you an history. When I bought my mobile phone I expect a mobile that works good, with no bugs, with a reasonable update time, and ready to use it just after unpack it, well my phone was bought in may 2012, It comes with android 2.3, and in the box was publicity that it will update soon to ICS. The update arrived late, I got ICS when almost all phones was in JB, and with tons of bugs. A month ago I got the JB update, not 4.2.2, I got 4.1.2 and I follow with some bugs, my 12Mpx cam makes photos worse that a 50$ camera, and thanks to some developers I got my mobile working acceptable.
That happens to me cause I bought a cheap Chinese phone :P But Oh!!! Wait!! my phone is a Sony Xperia S, I spent more than 400$ on it, and it is from Sony, a very reputed brand.
This devices have a great relation performance-cost. Have they bugs? Yes, some of them have really great bugs. Some of them are defective? Sure chinesse quality controls are not their best. Now this devices are really better than when they was released, and in some time they will be better, now we have kernel sources and access to the old SDK, there are a lot of developers working on them, they will improve a lot for sure.
If you expect a device that can make the same than a PC just after unpack it, forget about this devices. But if you search for a cheap devices, low power consumption, and you have some time to read in forums like this you will not get disappointed about this devices.
