[ROM] Mecool M8S Pro L Stock & Nano Nexus ROM (Android 7.1)

How long does the update normally take for the nano? Tried updating the original lq but it's sitting on the MeCool logo at the start of boot.

Been about 5 minutes. Have I bricked it?

Is this the update also for the L Variant? I have the DDR3 LQ box?

My last update i made was with the M8S_Pro_L-V0213_stock-20180830.zip
so i can update this with ota update to the new date 20181111 right?

I also wrote several postings to you Guest about my problem, that i get many times boot loop on starting the system.
But the rom works very fine and smooth when the system starts well.

so i flashed the img that was a nexus nano for the alfawise s92 and it worked on the t95z plus but get go any further than the welcome screen

Здравствуйте Магенданц,помогите пожалуйста с восстановлением mecool m8s l (lq) . Загрузил последнюю прошивку из шапки M8S_PRO_L-V0213_Stock_20180830.img в USB_Burning_Tool нажал пуск -пошла прошивка,доходит до 8% и стоп....подскажите вчём причина этой ошибки? В
recovery не входит,с тв нет сигнала,возможно стёр память? Eсть ли возможность вывести её из этого состояния? Рассмотрю любые варианты.Логи

Nope. You'd have to rebuild the kernel and system with that touchscreen driver.

Hello all.. Does this Nexus rom supports touchscreen displays? I got one Mecool M8S Pro L 3GB / 32 GB with bluetooth remote and connected it to a 10" touchscreen display trough HDMI but touchscreen isn't working. After I searched on different forums I've found that stock rom doesn't have touchscreen support. It's any way to get touch driver working for this box?

This is not for the original LQ box, only the new LB variant.

My recommendation for recovery is to flash a known-good burn package with USB Burning Tool. You'll need to open the case and short the reset terminals.

My last update i made was with the M8S_Pro_L-V0213_stock-20180830.zip
so i can update this with ota update to the new date 20181111 right?

I also wrote several postings to you Guest about my problem, that i get many times boot loop on starting the system.
But the rom works very fine and smooth when the system starts well.

Changelog (20181111):

• Updated to latest M8S Pro LB OEM firmware (20180803.173707.V0213)
• Latest build from Open GApps (20181111)

Known Bugs:

• You can enable the nav bar in Settings->Display->Statusbar, but may need to toggle back and forth before it will show.
• The Live Wallpaper service is not enabled in the Amlogic SDK 7.1.

Download:

• Nano Variant: BURN PACKAGE (943MB IMG file), OTA UPDATE (491MB ZIP file)
• Stock Variant: BURN PACKAGE (1.22GB IMG file), OTA UPDATE (695MB ZIP file)
• Flash burn package with Amlogic USB Burning Tool v2.0.8 or BootcardMaker v2.0.0.2
