The kernel I am using is the cooler version of the Hoaby's 1080p kernel.

WiFi is stable, BT I haven't tried, skip frame appears to be gone...video looks smooth to me, haven't tried Netflix, Antutu is on the low side of 12000.

Regarding 1080p, I don't know what to tell you but I am getting 1080p screen just like all the 1080p screenshots posted on the internet for this stick.
So this kernel makes a sdk1 rom run on this stick? That's essentially what you are doing. I'm very glad to hear that.. I'll make a custom firmware mased on minix x7 for the V3 maybe then...
If my work benefits you and you want to help out the cause, feel free to

Thank you all for the feedback!

Once I get my V3 I will try very hard to improve on this.

Hi! Just wanted to say a big thank you for your good work on the ROMs. I've installed the Universal v2.01 and its good, but I know you will make it great once you get your hands on a V3 MK908.
Just waiting patiently for it. Cheers!

Thanks so much! I hope to get it any day now really... hopefully tomorrow! And yeah I have now got a rom all setup to test with it as soon as I get it.. just really don't want to post something that doesn't work. So anyways the rom is mostly done and can be released as soon as I can verify functionality/stability.

Also expecting a V3 any day now. Was getting worried about lack of bootable ROMs and considering selling it on unopened...until I read this thread. Good work hoabycsr/you guys!

it will be awhile before we get roms that are any-ware near close to being considered usable id leave it unopened honestly

The other times, virtual controls can be mapped normally but it seems that virtual touches coordinates are "scaled" to a rectangle on the upper left side of the screen that's about 3/4 of the entire screen. Is Tincore seeing a smaller screen? "Beta Version" effect?
Stock ROM does the same. Opened something @ Tincore too: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!to...ct/ejaWpt2Vgwk

Tried the ROM with some cooling courtesy of 2 small fans.
Choppy playback + very noisey fans.
Not going to keep the fans attached if they aren't going to provide any benefit.
Hopefully when hoabycsr gets his V3 MK908 the ROM will be more suited.

I have got my MK908 V3. Curiously waiting for your ROM to test. It's preety much useless with tronsmart ROM.

Rom posted. It's a work in progress, kernel-wise but it's working pretty darn good. Just not as fast as I would like, but I'll get it eventually.

                            Nice work man!!!

                            I love this new rom
                            My MK908 work very well.
I set clock speed to maximum value in SetCPU apps. It said I got 1416MHz for min value. But I noticed that the device are actually faster than official rom.
Keep going. I hope this rom can reach the cpu max clock speed, even overclock!

well, I share with you guys my experience...

I tested stock power adapter with two roms: restart aprox. every 30 min.
Changed power adapter with a Samsung power adapter (5V, 2A - from Galaxy Tab 7.0), same roms: no restart - tested for 3 hours in each rom

For testing I used: Angry birds, 720p movie

                              Conclusion???
