[ROM] Mecool M8S PRO W TVStock Nexus ROM (Android TV 7.1)

I got the same(?) hardware (M8S_PRO_W, blue board rev2.0, Mecool), and the same ROM
but Nexflix does not work whatsoever.
I installed various version (the one you mentioned included), but none works.
I got quite far with the Kodi-Netflix Plugin (could login), but ended with error
("Netflix error, see logfile") eventually.
I seems (at least in kodi) that the "device verification" always fails.
Is there any chance to get around this check?

Well look up apkpure with netflx 6.7 version with the big red N but need to pair with mouse is your last option

I have a MX Q Pro 4K with Android Lollipop, running Amlogic S905 ARM processor and with a RTL 87238S Wireless LAN chipset, which I wish to upgrade with the latest available firmware - and the latest possible available Android version.

Does anyone of you have a suggestion to where I can find this and / or if I can use the TVStock or NANO package in this thread?

Alternatively, does any one know where I can get an appropriate firmware update - preferably to the highest possible version of Android that it will run - and preferably with instructions on how to install it.

Futher update re: Netflix.

I now have installed Netflix app from here and Netflix is working with this ROM. This only plays NETFLIX in SD and not HD.

I'm at a loss too. The mount points seem right, which makes me think the dtb is different with the rev2.2. Has anyone diff'ed them?

how do you flash the twrp as it can't be flashed through twrp itself (coz no mount points)?
replace it in the zip and update through updater? or by dd?
also by any chance do you have stock recovery of rev2.2?

EDIT:never mind, flashed and tried that twrp already. Still broken.

well i have twrp whenever i go in recovery, and i have same issue as you, it doesnt mount anything, it says 0MB..

Also Guest the twrp which you sent here has same issue as others - 0mb and cant mount anything same as guys above.

I made a rom and scared to try it coz broken recovery and broken system won't be great ️
Do u have the stock recovery?
I flashed by dd command
In terminal
dd if=/path/to/recovery.img of=/dev/block/recovery

How did you eventually flashed the (not-working) twrp mentioned by Magendanz in #23.1

Hello!
Magendanz I installed this ROM and works 30 times better than stock one that I had, no freezing or anything else (mega deep sleep when inactive) now so thank you for that!
But the problem is TWRP, i cant find single TWRP which works, even tho one comes with ROM, I cant mount anything in TWRP. I tried some from other posts here but same result.
I swipe the bar to allow system modifications, I get in TWRP menus and stuff, everything is clickable but it cant mount system,data etc., and when im rebooting to system it says no OS detected, but still boots to my OS.
I read through most of posts but people usually talk about REV 2.2 which i dont own. Is there any workaround or TWRP which i missed?
