I have M8S pro w, it came with preinstalled latest firmware 20180307, but i feel that is very sluggish and slow in work, can i downgrade to some stock firmware that has better performanse? Could you advise? I tried ota 20171030 to flash from zip but it sayed "error too old version"?

Dont known, i bout this box because i saw this ROM before the buy on the web! Soo i bout it! I like custom custom ROMs and a more aosp-ish look

Hello all..

I bought the M8S pro W, with old remote (without ATV).
I installed this firmware latest version, but two things ate least dont work:

- cast
- pair with google home (gives an error of a missing framework)

I think something is broken (cast related?!?) that causes both errors.

Can someone confirm this? Is there any fix or workaround ?

Its a known problem you can see it in bugs....
For cast look for airscreen APP on PlayStore i try'd myself

The last original mecool firmware has android TV launcher, they made android TV os for the mecool pro w
