Thanks. I'll take a look at it and see what I can see.

So oddly enough I manually added the SU binary and changed it to the same permissions as the default SU. I cooked the ROM and.....still no root.

I'm gonna leave SU the way it is-sorry. I've updated Apex and Busybox though.
