Upgrade From Lollipop to Marshmallow

I have a Minix Neo X8 Plus, I just installed the Finless ROM 2.0. Can I upgrade from Android 4.2 or 4.4 to 5.0 and higher with this ROM or there is nothing I can do? Being stuck at 4.2 has its challenges when I want to install certain software. Can anyone provide an answer I will appreciate it.
