MXQ Pro 4k goes no further than the word ANDROID

Hey guys, I've really done it now. So I found this, rk3229 android 7.1 firmware(wifi 8703)

LeelboxRK-8703-7.1nv3-Kodi-1225: (Available to shell model is t95d MXQ PRO, MXQ MINI, Q2 pro, Q2 mini, Q1) on Freak Tab

Thought it was the latest and greatest for my box so downloaded and upgraded my MXQ Pro. Now I have no blue light, no power at all!!

What to do, can I recover my MXQ?

I've got some V88 RK3229's on android 6.0 and installing apps is redonkity slooooooooooooooooow! All I know is that every new version of android has gotten slower and less capable since 4.X. To hell with 7.1, does anyone know of some 4.4 roms for these boxes? I bet they'd be four times faster 'DOWN' graded!

Hi ,

looks like that u soft Bricked your "now RK Box" , but that is no Problem , RK Boxes can be restored with the

MaskRomMode , if you are new to this first search and read a little bit .

To restore your Box you need the Stockrom or working Rom , best you look on the Ugoos Page for Infos ,

before you start :

thanks for all the help in this and previous posts. i have loaded my MXQ Pro ( Rockchip) with the above firmware and its great and best of all seems stable. and without your help on how to get Maskrom on device id still be sghorting every pin on board
