Any rom can be flashed using male2male cable, so You can try that way.

Your symptoms look like wrong firmware, so if You flash right one for Your H96, than it should.

As for warranty I don't know how Your works. However if it's Box bought from China I believe flashing won't void it.

          Hi folks!

A month ago I bought my Alfawise 3/32 from GearBest. My troubles started immediately after first usage. Constantly rebooting, service stopping...
I tried to resolve problem with GB, but they are very hard and their support was useless.
I passed firmware upgrade with Card burner over SD, then after I thought it's bricked somehow manage to recovered over USB, different firmware...

At that time I didn't know about different type of RAM, MB's, firmer, 2-4 USB, diff between 4Kplayer and Alfawise, extra coolers and such a stuff I learnt here from you.

And now, I realized that I am at the beginning knowing nothing!
          My questions are:
Which type of Box I have and is there any ROM that can be upload for stabile working because at the moment it drives me crazy
          I'll paste pictures.

          Thanks!!
ps.English is not my native, so...

            Thanks for the advise!

But I've encountered the following while flashing, basically the moment I let go of the reset button I get a black screen, and the updating screen disappears, any idea why that could be?

You are using SD flash method? Never used it, but I know that when flashing using Burning Tool it may be possible that reset button have to be pushed all along, so maybe with SD card is same thing?

I see that You are using male2male... Than You have to push the button all along. It's not fun, but have to be done

Oh, Ok thanks for the explanation!

I actually tried both ways now and on Burning Tool I also got an error at 2% will try to keep the reset button pressed

Update: Burning tool still fails even with reset button pressed on 4%

Well, tried on the SD card, the interesting thing is it boots into update mode without pressing reset button, but the bad news is it still crashes just like before after a minute or 2 even while updating, could it be a faulty hardware?

Also what would happen if I check the erase the bootloader box?

Right, I give up, spent most of the night trying various ROMs, with 0 luck, of he SD card the device simply crashes mid flash. Tried of USB the best I got was to 7%.
I've no idea what I'm doing wrong.

Did You try on different PC? Or at least removing device and it's drivers, so it could be reinstalled?

I did not, though i tried 4 different USB ports on my pc, might give it a go on my wife's laptop later today.

Maybe u can suggest on some other ROM other than SC, I seem to have the same device as you apart from 64g

There are only stock roms if You don't want his work. I hate stocks, so I cannot recommend any.

Well it's not really the case that I want the stock ROM more of the case of finding the one that I can actually flash.

I can't seem to find any for s32-v6.

But anyway thanks for your help.

So I've managed to flash it first to stock rom and then to supercelerons using usb cable, turns out I just had to mess around with usb ports switching and changing until it worked.

Sadly it did not help, and i can't eve get past initial set up in supercelerons rom, it just shows the splash screen for a while and then crashes, really disappointed, after wasting all this time.

What kind of crash? An FC window or just constant rebooting?

If Setup Wizard is FCing, than try this:
                              1. Boot to TWRP.
                              2. Mount -> Choose System
                              3. Go back
                              4. Advanced -> File Manager.
                              5. Move to /system/priv-app.
                              6. Remove every folder with "Wizard" in its name.
                              7. Move to /system/app and do the same.
                              8. Reboot to system.

Here's a video I made for Gearbest while running the stock ROM it came with (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kzz...ew?usp=sharing)

But the the crash I'm getting now is the same, now instead of stock H96 Pro+ and MBOX splash screen I get Suprecelerons one, also if I restart after it crashes half the time TV will say that there's no signal from HBMI.

Regarding your post could you be more specific, as far as I understand TWRP is some kind a recovery mode, but how do I get into it? If it means booting into it from the device, than I'm sure it won't work as it will just crash before I get a chance to do anything.
