As posted on the minix digitopmod neo geo4 thread, for me this rom with kizs v4 720p is really smooth and fast, but kizs kernel isnt as good about wifi as 2dark4u or Finless kernel

Here some tests results: i see that someone said 13000 is great, in that case what about 14000 and more...

    My MK808 Spec
MK808 modded with copper rad for amd64X2 and wifi finless mod
    psu woltcraft 5v 2,25A

    Rom DigitopMod 2.1 Walkman
    - kizs V4 720p (3.0.8+ kizs@kizs-linux 010413) - cpu on demand - 252mhz to 1,51 Ghz
    antutu score 1 13956
    antutu score 2 14055
    antutu score 3 13325
    antutu average 13778
Epic citadel: fps 50,2 - Resolution 1280x672 - Level Hight Quality

mo123's thread for the newer version of this ROM includes instructions for flashing to an MK808 --> http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...0730)-_Sep2013

For users that want to use the rom on a MK808, you have to flash a MK808 kernel with
    RKAndroidTool v1.37 afterwards.
So I suppose you can obtain kernel.img from any other MK808 ROM.

The only thing I can think that you may have overlooked is this:

    Code:
    1) Wipe all data. (Data, cache, dalvik-cache)
The first time you boot up after flashing new firmware, it may take unusually long.

If you still have issues, the only thing I can think is to use a different power source, because it's been noted that this can make a difference with the MK808/MK808B.

You can also re-download the firmware. It's only a slim chance, but it could possibly be that you didn't get the full file intact.

Yep, I noticed that. I asked a dumb question in another thread and now I can't edit it out

Also, I suggest moving the most recent firmware info to the top of the post. This latest ROM by digitop should not be overlooked

    Thank you.
I will create a new thread for the rom.

I asked Finless to put a link to the new rom at the bottom of the post, since I couldn't do it myself.

You are right....we need a proper thread for this rom....with a changelog to....we have no info on this rom, except that can reach 12500 in antutu.

So, can someone do a nice job and make this easy for all.

Can anyone revisit the exact steps necessary to install the latest digitopMod Sept 2013 on a MK808... I've tried the CWM method and it seems to get stuck when the stick reboots.... It shows the GOOGLE TV screen and then just hangs... ;-(

The rom gets an Antutu score of 12569, the fastest yet. It includes the latest libstagefright files for Android 4.1.
I can't seem to update the first post to put a link to the new rom there.
Thanks... downloading on depositfiles is a pain in the *ss though,
downloading now, will try it later this day.

After you download the file, rename to "update.zip", copy the file to an SD card formatted to fat32, stick it in the MK808b while it is running normally, you will get a message that "an update is available, do you want to install it" or something like that, click on yes, it will reboot a couple of times, maybe once, and then will boot into CWM. At that point I would make a NAND backup before doing anything else. Then I would reboot to system, make sure everything is happy, then use your choice of reboot apps to boot into recovery, or do the button-power cable thing.
Oh yeah, don't expect this link to be good forever, I clean out my cloud storage every few months or so.
