Hi,
I am new here and after many hours of frustration and searching and troubleshooting I decided to sign up and post here in hopes that someone could help me.
I have a Nexbox A95X S905X 2G/16G. I spent a few hours trying to install Oreo by following this guide. My the USB burn tool (V2.1.2) would not see my device, no matter what I tried. I reinstalled the driver, I hit start and then plugged in the USB cable, both while holding the reset button and not. I tried every variation I could think of to no avail.
I then tried to install via the SD card, that failed almost immediately. I then installed an older version of the USB burn tool (V2.0.5.15 build 7) and it finally saw my A95X! It however failed to burn the image at 2%, I did some reading and unselected the Erase Flash and Erase Bootloader options and it kept failing.
For the sake of it I reinstalled the newer version of the USB burn tool (V2.1.2) and it saw my A95X and wrote the image without and issues.
Upon completion I plugged a display into the A95X and applied power. It showed "Android O by Levy" twice and then the loading screen with the four pictures circling and bouncing around. It stayed stuck on this screen for a long while, so I did some more reading, found the advice to unplug and replug power, which I did, and it still gets stuck on the loading screen, no matter how many times I cycle power.
I then tried to restart the A95X buy holding the reset button when applying power and where it used to go to a boot menu in the past, it now just shows the "Android O by Levy" and then loads indefinitely. I tried to create a bootable SD card and where that worked in the past it now still just shows the "Android O by Levy" and stops on the loading screen.
I am at a loss. I cannot get the tv box to do anything now and would truly appreciate any assistance available.
Thanks in advance,
-Bob

Hello I had the same problem once I did File _Import image_ Start and then I plugged my box by putting the little rod in the hole. (Sorry for my English)
Tell me if it works

What about working WiFi on bad batch Mecool M8S Pro+, is that dependent on 8.1?
