Hello, I have just installed this build on a Nexbox 95X box (S905X). Almost everything works great with excellent speed. Here are some of the issues I am seeing:

1) Youtube does not work. I have installed youtube.apk version 1.3_11 but it gives network error. I have also tried latest builds with same result. Is there any way to fix that network error?

2) I could not find the network settings for Ethernet. I am not using wifi and my box is hardwired. All other apps are able to access the internet just fine. When I start youtube, its funny that it plays an ad, and the ad works fine, but then when it has to play the video, it says connection reset or something like that. Any suggestions? Great build otherwise. I can now install 64 bit apps.

3) USB mouse is messed up. It works sometimes but most of the time the select is random. Thankfully my remote is working so I am all set

4) For some reason the resolution of most of the application is set to 720p. e.g. plex or Kodi show interface UI at 1280 X 720 max (and is greyed out). However, when I play any movie it shows in its native resolution like 1080p will show as 1080p and 4K will show as 3840 x 2160, etc. Is there any way to change the native setting? I have obviously tried changing the settings in the display but that does not seem to make any difference. Once again I would like to clarify that its just the UI interface of the applications that is rendered at 720p resolution.

I will repost if I see any other issues.

Sorry to bother again. In an attempt fix the wifi issue I had with the v113 I used the AMPAK zip I found in one of the discussions on here but looks like my USB cable was on its last legs and did an incomplete burn bricking the device. What I have is a p212 board , sheep logo MINIM8S_II_V3.2_20161111 2G/16G with NAND SAMSUNG KLMAG2GE4A-A001. Only the red light glows. There is no blue light. USB cable or SD card method is not working. Does anyone have this specific board and know which pins to short for the NAND reset.

Thanks farzid and metrometro. That sure help me to flash back a v113 beelink firmware and get my box though this time no WiFi but I see the display on the screen coming up and responding

by the way, so i also managed to dual boot my TV Box. I installed a linux version (Armbian - ubuntu) on a SD card. so I'm able to run a full desktop environment on a TV box. and amazingly runs pretty ok. YouTube suffers a lot though. lots a frame drops, but overall, pretty ok if just using a browser and listening to music. if I need to boot back in Android, I just pop out the SD card and it's back to Oreo...neat.

Good call. That's what I did. I had the reset button pressed and inserted the USB in back port and no power cable. Computer recognized it right away, then release the reset button. I'm using Windows 10. if that helps.

Mine Box is Coolme MB1 based on same Mini M8S II , mine was also not detecting in USB burning tool ,i downloaded latest available USB burning tool v2.1.6 and then downloaded Universal ROM for S905X by minixfreak in the forum and used USB male to male connector to connect at backside USB port with reset button pressed .The Amlogic Usb burning tool detects it without pluging the DC power adapter .I think this may help you too.

I can't remember, but I may have flashed using the USB on the right side and that didn't work for me. And just to be sure you're also using a male-to-male USB Type-A cable at both ends, right? Lastly, I was using a v115. not sure if that matters or not.
Also, I'm not using WiFi. I have it connected to a RJ45 cable.

Well I am using the same male to male USB cable that I used to flash from stock rom to levy rom. Tried it in both USB ports, the one next to the HDMI and the one farthest away. No luck with getting it recognized. So I thought I would try the SD card method. Downloaded the v113 sd card update from Beelink and put it on the mini sd card. When I try this then it bums out with missing / mismatched properties in build.prop. So I repackaged the zip after removing the checks for build.prop as well as removing the manifest.mf files in the zip. This time around the ota updates-> recovery chugs along further and then bails out 'failed whole file verification'. I know this is something to do with the signatures but I dont know how to fix this. Any suggestions on how to revert back ... Thanks..

bro try using the different USB port for flashing the img file with Amlogic tool .Mine device too refused to be recognised by AMlogic USB burning using the default USB port.

Hello metrometro and lewy; I was able to flash this onto my M8S II box. Unfortunately it is not recognizing my WiFi. I am able to use it by providing an RJ45 wired connection and the build is very smooth. But I have to return the router with the RJ45 back to my friend and go back to using my purely WiFi router with 4G SIM. I tried the USB cable method to flash back an v112 based TVStock rom that I was using earlier but my Windows 10 machine is no longer recognizing the device when I press the paper clip into the pin hole. I even tried burning the img ffile using the card maker and inserting into the sdcard slot and hoping that when it reboots it will auto update and revert. In both cases it continues to boot into Lewy Oreo. I am able to get to Lew Oreo recover bu going into the UI and under OTA updates clicking on recovery to get the device to reboot and show the green robot awaiting instructions. I am a bit lost here on how should I proceed now to revert back to my old firmware. Any pointers much appreciated.

To those that are looking to drag/drop icons to the homescree:

I don't think these TV boxes have that functionality because I was looking for the same thing...but I could be wrong... I've had other TV boxes and none could drag drop icons. Your best option is to install a TV launcher that allows you to add icons and shortcuts to your home screen. I'm currently using, yup, TV Launcher. it's free on Play Store. works really nice.

Also, I've tested this Oreo version and so far so good. I've tested it for multiple applications like kodi, youtube, twitch, and numerous rom emulators. All work perfectly. no crashes of any kind. I had to side-load Netflix , but it does works once you log in.

Also, this Oreo 8.0 os is really smooth and fast. I'm using it on a Mini M8S II. Upgraded it from 6.0 using USB burning took. Even switched back and forth to 6.0 just to see if it works.

It work fine and Thanks for your work!
The wifi is little slow. it seem improved by turning off bluetooth. The wifi speed is not big issue. It will be great if support either NTFS or exFAT.
