Recap... also posted this in my 5v 10a power thread
I ended up using an old 350watt PSU. I took a molex to sata power adapter, cut it and spliced it to become a molex to micro USB (power only). Then shorted the green wire and a ground on the 20 pin to power On the PSU when I flipped the switch.
The 5v rail has 32amps, more than enough power for this stick. I'm not getting any reboots anymore that's for sure. Now I can benchmark my stick while OC'd. I'm going to find a way to clean it up and make it look nice. Probably remove all the extra cables and such. Maybe leave 1 or 2 molex for external devices if need be.

Stick
Benchmark Now benching 3000 points higher than my Galaxy Note II!
Right now the stick is
Nexus 7 Multi-Window ROM v1.2
OC Kernel CPU @1.6GHz (stick would still reboot when trying to run the 1920MHz clock speed) Performance / noop, GPU 789MHz, DDR 720MHz
vram heatsinks on the NAND, Memory, and Processor
10mm fan on CPU solderd to the 5v and ground from the USB (A) port
The only issues I am having right now are that I get no video on my PS1 emulator. I get audio, and can load a save state, but just a black screen. I also now get FCs as I try to load up a ROM from my N64 emulator. Im not sure if its the ROM or the Kernel causing the issue. I upgraded from the Multi-Window v1.1 and Stock kernel at the same time, so not sure witch one is to blame. It could be they just dont like 1080p.
Video playback at 1080p is flawless. Even on WiFi. I have watched 1080p, 720p and 480p Movies/TV shows and have no stutters, skipping, or buffering. Having this type of performance on this stick at full 1080p is fantastic.TV Stick: MK808 // Tronsmart T428
ROM: Finless 1.7c w/Pimp My Rom // Nexus SDK2 Multi-Window v1.2
CPU: @1.6GHz OnDemand Governor NOOP I/O Scheduler
Recovery: ClockworkMod
Kernel: Omegamoon // 1080p OC kernel 720ddr 1.9cpu
Phone: Samsung Galaxy Note II
ROM: Whompasaurus v4.2
Kernel: Persus

Video is malformed message
I am using jjhmod-v2.2 with a 1080 kernel built using marvin - "1080p cpu1800h ddr720 gpu600o vsfsam" (with config modified to allow only 1200 MHz and 1608 MHz). With this when playing an online source, playback stop consistently after about 10 mins, both with Wondershare Player and MX Player. Logcat with wondershare is below. Playback stops with a "Video is Malformed" error. Any ideas ?

XBMC releases and various builds for all platforms can be found here. All nightlies since the beginning of August and all test builds with 'libstagefright', 'hwaccel' or 'SF' in the file name support hw acceleration.
I'm currently using this version: 'xbmc-20130714-6ec63cd-adddroidlibstagefright-armeabi-v7a.apk'.Last edited by Molle; 06 September 2013, 18:51.
