It is a UG007B with AP6210.
This means you can take a Custom Rom for MK802IV with AP6210.
Should Work.
Please Test it !

Note: screen resolution appeared bad: it is really 1920x1032, but the text is scaled. Any vnc session results in blurred text. Solution: check Settings->screen->scale and choose the maximum size.Last edited by dkcm; 18 September 2013, 19:59.

Custom ROM update. All peripherals continue working fine?.

Could you confirm if every USBs (3 ports) and Ethernet (through RJ45) continue working after you have update the ROM?.
Thanks and regards

MK822 here. :|
Hi folks,
I've got one of these too.
Mine is labeled as an MK822, but only by way of a single label on the bottom, nowhere else. AliExpress
When it boots it says ""R-BOX"
I posted some pics of mine here and elsewhere because I was so surprised to see how it was constructed.
Mine doesn't have any heat sinks (I have some on order for it because it does run hot) and runs pretty stable except for two things:
Screen blanks and comes back again.
It will not display properly on my 720P HDTV, showing a squared off screen with black bars.
It displays well on a 1080p monitor though, but still with screen blanking.
I had a thought to maybe use a different stick in there, but I'm curious about the extra micro USB connector that one has and how it is used on this thing.
I'm glad to have found some other folks with one of these things.

It feels like the case will break if I try to press.
Thanks!

Hey all,
I'm new to this stick rom flashing thing, as I only have experience with custom roms on my old htc hd2- so I'm gonna need some help from you guys!
I ordered a jesurun k8 for my parents, but I regret to hear it puts out 720p out of the box. Therefore, a custom rom is in order- and happy to have found it here!
To my understanding the box doesn't come with root, and some button has to be held to gain su rights?
Can someone elleborate further on this procedure, or is it kind off obvious when I open the box? Since I won't have the box for long there's not a lot of time for trail and error.
Then just install cwm, and flash zip?

First Welcome to our Forum. Nice to have you here.
Now to your Problem.
To Flash a Custom Rom you must Open the Case. Then you can reach the TV-Stick inside to press the Flash Button.
On how to Flash please read here: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ll=1#post74342
As Custom Rom you can use this Rom:
You can use a 720p or a FullHD Kernel all will Work.
If you have Questions feel free to ask.

And so the plot thickens..
Received mine today! And in all honesty, the stockrom they put together isn't all bad, and quite useable (seems to be 1080p as well).
That being said, wifi is pretty unstable. The signal strength is A-ok but two out of three times restarting the adapter no packages are truly transmitted. Ethernet is not superfast but gets things done.
When I got into surgery however, I've noticed the wiring shows some differences in comparison with pictures posted above:
It seems they found ways to save some extra cash by eliminating a usb-plug. More interesting however, is that they left a micro-usb port unused. Furthermore, I could not identify a reset-button on stick circuit. Comparing it to your machines, I saw mine has a resetbutton accessible from the outside (located next to a power-button).
My wondering state can be expressed into two practical questions; 'which port is otg, and should be used to flash?' & 'Am I overlooking reset on the stick pcb, or is my version made more hackerfriendly by externalizing this option on pcb?'
Thanks in advance for your thoughts! These sticks are quite intriguing .. Do the companies involved improvise on each individual specimen, or do the sticks propagate in storage, producing some interesting evolution?..
