How do I view which wifichip is used?

I tried the rom that you have posted, I wrote it on SD CARD (with Rockchip SD Card Tool following this guide https://chinagadgetsreviews.com/down...tool-v1-4.html) but when insert the SD CARD in Box in recovery mode and click on "apply update from sd card", the box doesn't view any files to update.

I'm using the sd card because the usb cable doesn't work (the pc doesn't view the box) .

However, this tool to write on sd card should be to work correctly. What is the problem?

first i thought you try the PC way , please discribe how you connected your Box to PC &

what USB port u used , really flashing over PC is for "restore" better .

Your Box has a "Reset" Button behind the AV Jack , to see on Picture .

The Roms i linked should only show , connected to PC , that your Box

is a RK3128 , dont think they "boot" , we must search for the 7.1.2 Rom

for your Box .

To know what Wifichip is bulid in you have to read on the Chip .

Did you ever contacted the Seller and ask for a new Stockrom ???

First of all I enter in recovery mode through the reset button behind the AV Button, then link the pc and box with the usb cable (male-male), and the pc doesn't recognize nothing, install the driver assistant rockchip and after open rockchip flash tool which don't show any device connect (bottom any led is off). I tried all usb port on box but I think that the otg usb port is behind box, on the left the Av Jack.

I don't read nothing of interesting on the board for the wifichip is used, I send the picture of the board previously but don't know which is the wifichip.

I contact the seller and he replied with they don't sell anymore this box and they don't have a rom to send me.

you did something wrong , the box must be unconnected from Power , OFF , press the Button behind the AV Jack

hold it , while holding insert USB to PC , & after that the Power , then you will hear the typical connecting Sound ,

now release the Button , in Flashtool you must now see a Device in "Loader Mode" . Try this and report , otherwise

you must "shortPins" to get in "MaskRomMode" .

The Wifichip is most near by the Antenna , maybe you have a AP6335 or AP6330 Chip , but the importants thing

is you need a working Rom . On your Picture the Chip is not shown , i think it is on other side of PCB ???

Finally the box is connect to pc with rockchip.
I tried your procedure with other usb cable and I applied the following modify at config.ini of rockchip batch tool:

SUPPORTLOWUSB=TRUE
SUPPORTFASTUSB=TRUE

Now, rockchip detect the box, but the problems aren't finished because the firmware found are not correct.
While the flash procedure, the flash tool fails the restore and shows the output:

Download firmware fail....

This apperas after some minutes from the start.

Now, where can I find the firmware correct?

I think there are two solutions:

1) It is possible extract the firmware from another identical box and after reinstall on it? If yes, how to do?

2) Exist other way to unbrick the box from Mbox boot loop animation? Or the only solution is flash the firmware?

to Point 1 , yes it is , same for Point 2 , SDCard way , but flashing is most

i think well , but the best Rom shall be the 7.1.2 Stockrom that already was installed on Box ,

maybe it is possible to extract your Rom and flash it again , you can try it with

AndroidTool 2.35 or higher under "AdvancedFunction""ExportImage" maybe it works and can

be flashed new ??? Try it and report ,

Hi,

I just tested the export image with android tool, but the image exported is of 0Byte....

I tried also flash the firmware with this tool but the results are the same.
