This is very strange, I guess that magisk corrupted something (boot.img!?) that can't be fixed with a TWRP backup or a entire flash via USB, that's why the box stays on boot forever and recovery is so slow.
I'll keep on trying to fix it with TWRP. It's a shame that an official firmware for this box isn't available online.

Thanks Felix.
I flashed that firmware via USB Burning Tool version for Linux and the problem remained. I then installed Windows XP in virtualbox and used the original USB Burning Tool.
I got the following error:
Erase bootloader/Switch status/Enum device/Enum error
However, If I untick the option to erase the bootloader I can flash the firmware successfully, but the tvbox remains bricked. So it seems that the problem relies on the bootloader, I need to find a way to erase it.
I'll keep trying to figure this out. Thanks for the support.

After reading many forum messages, yesterday I decided to stop using Windows XP in virtualbox on Manjaro and installed Windows 10 on my PC. Then after many trials (USB Burning Tool versions, USB ports, etc), I finally managed to sucessfully upload the firmware without errors but my box continues to be bricked, even with the "erase bootloader" option. I get the same result with the SD Card method with the Burn Card Maker 2.0.3, the firmware is flashed sucessfully, but the tvbox continues bricked. Super strange...
I had bricked boxes before and managed to recover all of them, but this box is bricked in a very strange way. It's like an extremly slow bootloop, it's not even a normal bootloop. With the original firmware provided by Felix it goes from the boot logo to the extremly slow animation If I wait many hours and then stops there. The recovery via reset button can also be accessed with alternative firmwares (X96 and TX3), but not with the original one. It's also very strange that I've to wait several minutes to enter into recovery, and recovey is extremly slow to backup or restore files. When normaly a TWRP backup restore just takes few minutes, this box takes a whole night. Summing up, the box is not only in a bootloop, but in an extremly slow one.
I still don't understand what did the Magisk destroyed that a sucessfull firmware upload can't recover. Is there a boot log where I can see why this bootloop is soo slow? I guess that there are soo many errors that the CPU is always at 100 %. I can acess the box files via TWRP.
Thanks.Last edited by LITUATUI; 24 September 2018, 14:42.
