      Anyone able to get Hulu working with XBMC? It's said "opening stream" and stuck there, but it played all he ads fine. I'm pulling my hair out trying to get Hulu working.
      UPDATE: Hulu seems to work with the latest XBMC Gotham version 6.

        iptvsimple?

        Hi.
        Can some body start make builds xbmc for android goham for rk3188? Except for patches of the above, I am interested in iptvsimple pvr add-on, witch included in official repo, but need builds with xbmc. (What is why its missing in official builds). I'm using cx-919 tvstick and want watch iptv from my ISP, but I havn't expirience in building for android.

          Unfortunately I think this is difficult to fix with a binary patch, but if you manage to compile xbmc I can give you the necessary code for this. It's a couple of lines in 4 files that needs to be added.
          The best way to automate this might be to create a new git with these files and merge it with the main xbmc git.

            Hmm... if I patch the code using your modification and compile it, which files will be different from the original release? I mean which binary filenames?

            As for the IPTV Simple plugin, looking in the apk, it is actually included in there. There is libXBMC_IPTV_Simple.so in /lib/armeabi-v7a in the apk package. Also in assets/addons/pvr.iptvsimple there is whole configuration folder. So I think the plugin is actually included in the nightly builds, it's just somehow disabled. Any thoughts?

              I don't know which binary files my mod affects, but I'm gonna compile alpha 8 and compare with the original build to get the answer.

                  Just compiled Alpha 8, it's libxbmc.so that differs.

                    oh mine... i hoped it would be some of the smaller files. that way i could replace just the one and hope nothing else has changed in it, but i am sure something changes in the libxbmc.so in EVERY release... so that's a dead end.

                    i think i will try to set up the whole compiling procedure. is there any tutorial i could start with? i am skilled with programming, i just don't have any knowledge regarding android and the sdks i have to get...

                      So we only need your modified libxbmc.so and get dolby und dts passthrough enabled with any xbmc build?

                          well if i pull this off, my version will have the patch included, you would have the final fresh .apk every day.

                            So can you upload Alpha 8 for testing if passthrough works?

                              Yeah, that would be cool! But when i have a working XBMC release that streams my 1080p AVCHD and MKVs, i will never ever change that system

                                @curlyboi
                                Try follow the guide at the xbmc wiki, if you just follow the steps exactly it's pretty easy.
                                The only thing you need to begin with is a working linux system.
