New hardware mk808/mk808b clone. blue HTC board anyone seen this before?

i bought this mk808 on **** the other week, it came from hong kong. well, it is advertised as an mk808, but it is an mk808b clone i think. however, i cant find an image of this hardware model anywhere so i thought i would post some photos here to see if anyone has seen this model yet? im brand new on the forum, only because i have encountered something to contribute.
it has an rk3066 dual core with elpida j4216 set, hynix memory on the back of the board, the board is blue and has htc_1011 printed on the board between the elpida chips. it has only one wifi antenna. i am pretty sure it is a different model. photos:

      Hi Thomas,

seems I have the same device that you, see here:

Now my question is: Which firmware is installed on your device?

      Thanks

AW: New hardware mk808/mk808b clone. blue HTC board anyone seen this before?

        Hello,

This is the first Rockchip RK3066 which has a AP6210 Wi-Fi chip.
Never seen this before. There is at the moment no Custom Rom out there.

I think there is a Custom Rom. Please look at this thread:

It is Finless 2.1 with the Stock Kernel.

so i have toyed around with multiple roms and have discovered two candidates. the finless 1.7 rom and the minix neo x5 rom. both are unstable and have incorrect drivers. the minix neo works because it too has a broadcom wifi chip but it is an earlier model hence the instability. the tronsmart t428 & mk908 both have the correct wifi chip but are quad core roms. i need a finless rom that is not just one .img file so i can copy the driver for the wifi into both working droid roms. other things i noticed, antutu benchmark will crash this stick and so will xbmc, blackmart will install, but wont run & it crashes the stick too.....weird. also, root folder access acts strange. says it is rooted, but some apps that require root crash the system.
both working roms are available here on freaktab.
looking for an mk908 or tronsmart t428 finless rom that i may be able to steal from and paste into his 1.7 mk808b rom. hey, it is worth a shot...

May it is possible to Test the MK908 Rom
On your device. I know it is for a quad core stick but I will test it and see what happens.

                    Hi,

I can confirm, this combo sort of works for me.
I have stable and fast WIFI. Bluetooth is not tested as I do not need it.

However, I experience random hot reboots from time to time, not yet sure if this is the power supply or the firmware. But I will monitor this closely and let you know.

So far, I am quite happy with Finless 2.1 and the stock kernel.

                    Thanks

i swapped psu's thinking what you just mentioned about crashing & overheating. the psu swap made no difference. it is the firmware i am sure.
