It is a GB box. I haven't the courage to ask another vendor to abuse me, yet.
lol....plus the points and wallet credits keep you tied to the "companystore".

I did say some users report type C port is working.

I wonder if n6 needs 3amp power for ssd drives ?

Flashed N6 Max(software) . Worked without editing anything.

Vice Versa your box(hardware) N6 maX may work with mk39(software)

damn... theirs no way all that can be fixed in a custom rom... some yes it can be fixed but others... need to be done in the source, i think is better Magicsee go for android 8.1....
It not worth be fixing all of that in OLD OS...!

Lists of bugs so far all put together:

- 10 bit h264/h265 video is not stable
- Type C port not working
- Screensaver not working. Sleep is buggy, and wakes without remote used
- DRM not available
- HDMI handshaking issues
- Amazon Prime Video crashing
- Netflix app not compatible, need to use old v4.12 app
- HDR not working
- Youtube freezing after 5 minutes
- Can't use SuperSU 2.81 then the device goes into a bootloop
- Wifi issues with 2.4Ghz
- Wifi disconnects by itself sometimes
- HDMI CEC not working
- 4K videos downscaled to 1080p in Kodi
- No deinterlacing support in Kodi
- Auto frame-rate and colorspace switching not available
- Can't play high bitrate flac audio files
- Can't add a default route when modifying the static ip for ethernet
- Can't write to external storage
- NTFS Write and Exfat support missing
- Can't install Nova or other launchers then they crash
- Can't connect 2TB or higher hard-drives mostly Seagate and other brands
- Lots of apps missing or not possible to install from the Play Store

I don't think new S905x2 devices have even half of these issues.
So lets hope Magicsee can fix everything or not.

Bro you need a windows machine for all the methods. NO way to flash from USB as well,
So its either USB 3.1 or SD card method.

Step 1. Download Firmware and SD card tool
Step 2. Unzip downloads and run SD card tool
Step 3. Inside tool select SD card drive, browse and select firmware, click create
Step 4. Once SD boot disc it created insert into TV box
Step 5. Plugin power adapter to start flash process, no reset button needed.
Step 6. Once prompted to remove SD card, remove it and the upgrade will complete.

SD Card method very easy!
But you need a SD Card writer/reader Adapter!

I bought this before to do flashing and its not pricey about $ 5/10
this adapter must have for future use or at least for this time if you wanna do flashing with SD Card

I think it the more generic boxes, the fan blows the heat or from the bottom. Hope they're are proper heat sinks installed.
but since it's amlogic i am keeping my fingers crossed and wishing that the firmware runs ok.
