Guess I missed what you meant...
"FYI
if you try to use by "USB3.1"(thru Type-C Port) with proper Adapter/Cable then this time "Type-C Port" WORKED!!!
Seems that there is no any Type-C Port issue by "Hardware"!! the issue is "Firmware"
Because I'V already tested thru 3.1 port"
sidglide thanks for checking I was pretty sure.
I'll figure something out.
Been thinking about a second hand pawnshop pc, just wasn't sure of the specs needed.
I guess better pull the trigger on one though.
My big brain does not understand why androids can't fix androids.... Silly me.
' must be too logical. 8-/Last edited by ClarkKent; 09 January 2019, 04:39. Reason: Msee didn't understand Need OTA, but did say 8.0? Coming... Oh well! 8-(

It is a GB box. I haven't the courage to ask another vendor to abuse me, yet.
lol....plus the points and wallet credits keep you tied to the "companystore".
Tonight I'm looking for an answer from Msee regarding ota and a response to mo's list. Yeow!
I did say some users report type C port is working.
I wonder if n6 needs 3amp power for ssd drives ?
Seems log showing power addressing issues too.
We'll see

[QUOTE=noahv;n757100]Originally posted by ClarkKent View PostThis means that you HAVE Flashed listed mk39 rom onto the N6? Please clarify. All features work well enough for you?
My box(hardware) is mk39
Flashed N6 Max(software) . Worked without editing anything.
Vice Versa your box(hardware) N6 maX may work with mk39(software)
N6 Max use AP6356s wifi chip RKM M39 AP6255

- HDMI handshaking issues
- Amazon Prime Video crashing
- Netflix app not compatible, need to use old v4.12 app
- HDR not working
- Youtube freezing after 5 minutes
- Can't use SuperSU 2.81 then the device goes into a bootloop
- Wifi issues with 2.4Ghz
- Wifi disconnects by itself sometimes
- HDMI CEC not working
- 4K videos downscaled to 1080p in Kodi
- No deinterlacing support in Kodi
- Auto frame-rate and colorspace switching not available
- Can't play high bitrate flac audio files
- Can't add a default route when modifying the static ip for ethernet
- Can't write to external storage
- NTFS Write and Exfat support missing
- Can't install Nova or other launchers then they crash
- Can't connect 2TB or higher hard-drives mostly Seagate and other brands
- Lots of apps missing or not possible to install from the Play Store
I don't think new S905x2 devices have even half of these issues.
So lets hope Magicsee can fix everything or not.

You need PC(or might be can do it Tablet or might be Phone can possible)
++
My Box came me with FW DEC17/2018(the latest one!!) arrived to me DEC25/2018
seems that your Box newer than me but as it seems that with older FW!!
WTF
++
SD Card method very easy!
But you need a SD Card writer/reader Adapter!
I bought this before to do flashing and its not pricey about $ 5/10
this adapter must have for future use or at least for this time if you wanna do flashing with SD Card
++
But I wonder that,does it opened your Box??
If not you wont to do SD Card method!
ya whats going on with this worsted box

but since it's amlogic i am keeping my fingers crossed and wishing that the firmware runs ok.
