Bro you need a windows machine for all the methods. NO way to flash from USB as well,
So its either USB 3.1 or SD card method.

Bro, use the Rockchip tool to prepare the SD card and flash the ROM, its the easiest way.
There is still no OTA available and I dont think there ever will be 1

I was warned, and looked hard at moving to the 905x2
, extra hard at the A95X. . Very much so.
But I was weak, when the price lined up a little better...
I went for the shiny paint, big tires, and loud pipes.

Maybe... next time I will buy me a daily driver.

Lists of bugs so far all put together:

- 10 bit h264/h265 video is not stable
- Type C port not working
- Screensaver not working. Sleep is buggy, and wakes without remote used
- DRM not available
- HDMI handshaking issues
- Amazon Prime Video crashing
- Netflix app not compatible, need to use old v4.12 app
- HDR not working
- Youtube freezing after 5 minutes
- Can't use SuperSU 2.81 then the device goes into a bootloop
- Wifi issues with 2.4Ghz
- Wifi disconnects by itself sometimes
- HDMI CEC not working
- 4K videos downscaled to 1080p in Kodi
- No deinterlacing support in Kodi
- Auto frame-rate and colorspace switching not available
- Can't play high bitrate flac audio files
- Can't add a default route when modifying the static ip for ethernet
- Can't write to external storage
- NTFS Write and Exfat support missing
- Can't install Nova or other launchers then they crash
- Can't connect 2TB or higher hard-drives mostly Seagate and other brands
- Lots of apps missing or not possible to install from the Play Store

I don't think new S905x2 devices have even half of these issues.
So lets hope Magicsee can fix everything or not.

I am looking to A95X Max it looks really inviting, the especially the possibility of adding a 2.5" HDD

I had one tablet device from JXD with a RK3**** chip, it was slower than a dual core allwinner device.
Most people in the know attributed it to the kernel. It used to consume a lot of battery, had sleep issues, use to hand, get hot and what not.
JXD rolled out many firmwares, but i guess since Rockchip never fixed the kernel the issues remained till i gave up on the device and put it away for good
I guess its better to stay away from Rockchip devices although on paper its a solid performer. I am sure a good implemntation with proper software support will peform well.
However for time being next to put the N6 on hibernate.
I had applied for refund to the aliexpress seller still awaiting a response.although aliexpress has ruled in my favour.
But this device will be a $50 paper weight after the refund that i will get.

Yes 905x2 is working out well lots of custom rom at least 4 todate,
Sure they are no speed demon, but like all does the job, so far
