And I told my friend "Type-C Port" does not work as well!!

At present I'm more happy with my latest Box of "A95X MAX"

Note;"Picture Quality" N6 or other RK3399 Boxes "better"

I recently received this model. Now it runs LibreELEC (wired network, WiFi, BT remote control). Until the shutdown is completed, the console restarts when you select shutdown. Works Armbian. I'm removed the top plate and the next step would be to add a fan to use the full power of the RK3399 at 100%. PS Android I'm not interested in principle.

Let me ask you;such does it work or possible for run "LibreELEC" with other RK3399 devices??
Just wondering and also for me Android is not my first criteria even KODI too!

Lots of RK3399 devices now support LibreELEC.
I'm also trying to build my own one for RK3399, my RK3328 LibreELEC images already run well.

You will be a bit disappointed then since LibreELEC is only Linux Kodi and nothing else.

But for Magicsee N6 users, it is a great step forward for proper video playback like 10-bit H264, HDR & auto frame-rate switching that Magicsee didn't compliment into Android and never will.

"N6" doesnt support 10-bit/264 its a great lack off!! also you wont play such as with MXPlayer HD+ even HD
so for video playing supports,limited and no good
This Box just a disappointed at least for me and I'v already sold out bye-bye

And KODI;if you turn ON Video Accelerations then wont play!! WTF

N6 for video watching(external sources USB/HDD) worst device!
By the way mine Type-C Port doesnt work!

So I'v leaved this Box within 2 months

BUT for the picture quality "RK3399" the very BEST
AML912 and all others and also the new one AML-S905X2 do not beat 3399!!
Mine last Box A95X MAX(S905X2);frankly I do not like it the "picture quality"!!

So I'm still on the way,to find proper Box for video playing!
In this respect mostly I play my videos from my PC

Hey bergamesk I sure am glad i didn't buy that N6 i liked my rk3399 X99 picture quality but i did say this before, I bought the Nvidia Shield at Christmas for playing videos and it works just awesome I love it...that is the one box i would say, buy it and you wont be disappointed.

proper HEVC 10-bit video playback can be fixed in firmware right ?

Yes, most likely won't for this device though.
Rockchip's latest sdk's don't have any problem with 10-bit H264 or H265.
But most manufacturers keep on using old code and the 'ship and forget' method to release new products just a month or two later
without fixing their old devices, it's the only way they stay in business and people keep supporting this kind of business model.

10-bit H265 should work much better in LibreELEC.
For users watching movies on a 4K tv, it is almost a must to use LibreELEC nowadays as video playback is far superior.

well this time probably I'll go to Shield
so,I got about $ 130 fm my N6 sale+partial payment fm Geekbuying
and now to time sale of my latest Box of A95X MAX(therefore I'v got $ 20 fm Geekbuying
so lets saying total $ 150 in my hand and adding some of bucks and get it Shield

I guess this project should work for me

its not correct for the "10-bit/H264"! but H265 O.K

N6 wont support 10-bit/H264
Well this N6 in this area problematic!
As I remember X99 wont support too

As I understood that at present RK3399 Boxes not worth the price of devices! lot bugs,various lacks,limited supporting
even not supporting!
