Hi all I got magisk installed used Google translate on 4pda and made a account, wasn't easy without knowing Russian lol.

Instructions
1. Download the TWRP_322.zip place it on microSD flash drive with magisk 18 zip and magisk apk.
2. Enter the stock recovery by pressing reset switch located in the A/V input and plugging in the power while holding reset switch in until it boots to recovery.
3. Remote move to the Apply Update From EXT. > Update From SDcard >TWRP_322.ZIP . And we get into TvRP, then you need a mouse.
4. Make a backup of your firmware on a USB flash drive through the button "Backup".
5. Install the root through the "Install" button. Then restart the console.
6. Through the file manager, go to the USB flash drive and install the Magisk Manager .

All actions are at your own risk and risk, no one except you is responsible for your console.

May work for other devices with X905x2 like x96 Max and beelink mini.

no, will be a really long time according to libreelec developers as it is completely different chip on a different kernel.

Netflix and HBO GO not working at the moment with Kodi 18 on all Mecools. Both add-ons are using InputStream Adaptive with DRM. At the moment no chance to run add-ons which using DRM.
Only one way is run from SD card LibreELEC or CoreELEC.

Those of you who have Netflix and or Amazon Prime account can you try to use Kodi add ons on KM9 and share you feedback if it works. You need to have Kodi Ver 18 RC1. For some reason 18 RC2 and RC3 doesnt work to install addons from zip file, just crashes Kodi (it will be great if you can check this too or it just my problem). Check these links for more info

One 4k with vc1?I think libreelec(Amlogic s905x s912) will play that .Do you like PQ on nvidia shield?

The picture quality was horrible on the Shield until I found the proper settings, and now the quality is pretty good. Also, I tried to play this 4k movie (Skyscraper) on my Mecool M8S Pro running the latest CoreELEC port and it shuts down my box. Tried the same video on my Mecool KM8 running the latest version of CoreELEC and samething, it shuts down my box. I have not tried it on any of my boxes running LibreELEC.

Here is the info for my 4k movie. It is encoded with HEVC, and not VC-1.

Plex works, It does have voice support and it?s working. S905X2 runs Android TV Oreo like butter

Ok, got Plex to work, but playing my BlueRay rip of Avatar, both the video and audio are being transcoded, and the picture quality is horrible on my 4k TV. I have a surround sound system, but I can only get stereo output.

Playing a DVD rip and the video is still being transcoded and audio is being transcoded from AC3 to AAC. Video quality is very bad, even for a DVD rip.
