Don't know how it goes in your case, i installed latest Nano over latest stock ROM. My device came with latest stock ROM installed already.

Trying to install this version now.
It installs fine. Reboots .... I get to setup screen where it asks to backup from phone or setup as new device (i tried both - same result). It says setup quit working (restart or mute something). Keeps doing that.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
I confirmed last 2 letters in serial number were LB.

I've had trouble getting the Google setup wizard to work from a phone or Android device. You're best to just enter your username and password manually with the remote or an attached USB keyboard.

(Seems to work fine on OREO, though.)

I can't get to where you enter username and password.
I flash the update. It reboot. Enters setup - you pick your keyboard language - then it goes to where you can backup data from phone, icloud etc or setup as new device. This is where it crashes.

Okay, I'll take another run at the M8S Pro LB now that the S905X2 boxes are done. There's a new OEM firmware release (20181018.101400.V0213) to integrate anyway.

UPDATE:
Managed to flash stock 20181018.101400.V0213 onto my M8S Pro LB via SD card. Installed perfectly.
Non voice remote works .. no Wifi. Internet works via ethernet.

I installed this rom to my box
Everything is ok except that sometimes box frezes at the start up..
i have to disconnect the box from the power adapter until it boots again...it is a random error
Any idea?

Check your airflow. These Mecool M8S Pro boxes are known for overheating, and it usually results in a freeze.

i don?t think that is a overheating problem. I don?t use the box for one day and it is cold and the box has the same problem. i will try to do a reset.
How can i install the original rom?

is there a guide to go back to the original FW ?

i have this installed, (no voice control or bluetooth kb) so want to revert to standard FW

if i do this via settings and choose a zip file, I get a twrp screen but cannot get any further as the remote does not respond

I have install this OTA Version. The voice Control don`t work. Than i press volume- and Ok for 3 sek. The Remote work, but when i push the mirofone button then crash the System Ui and the voice control don`t work. Is the a Way to fix the problem?

Probably because Google Assistant isn't installed. Did you try the Stock variant?

I'll take a look. Google Assistant should work with the voice remote after it's paired.

Probably within the next few days. I just did updates for the M8S PRO PLUS and M8S PRO W, and this one is next in the queue.
