Pipo U1 Pro RileyROM 1.1

Not to be confused with the plain ole Pipo U1, this ROM is for the U1 Pro tablet. This ROM is based on the official Pipo Firmware released on 1-23-13.

Please be advised that I have not tested this, because I don't have a U1 Pro. There may be some tweaks I'll have to remove to get things working properly.

This ROM is:

Rooted
Debloated
Init.d Support
Busybox Support
2, 4, 6, 8, or 10gb user app space options
Among some other tweaks
Multi-User Support added
Tun.lo, Cifs.ko and Md4.ko modules added

Sir, the file zip file is corrupted. I cnt even extract it. I already downloaded it 4 times. Still file is cirrupted. What to do? Thanks

Just click on the box to the right of the parameter line in the flash tool and browse the RileyROM folder to the parameter file you want to use. The number indicates the size of the user app space.

When selecting a different parameter file do you need to rename it to "parameter" or can you use it with the existing name, ie: parameter 4, parameter8, etc.

Also, can the custom parameter files you provide be utilized with stock PiPo image files dumped using the Wendal tool?

Flash the parameter files either way...by renaming the desired file to "parameter", or browse the flash tool to the desired file. You don't have to do both.

Initially, in my instructions, it was just easier to tell people to rename the file because the flash tool's browse box is a little confusing for some people. I just click the browse box without renaming the file.

My parameter files won't work with the stock ROM, simply because I shrink the system.img file after I debloat because I don't like to waste so much NAND memory that isn't used anymore. I adjust the parameter file to accommodate the new size, so since the stock system.img is larger, partitions will overlap and cause a boot loop if flashed with my parameter file.

sir zip file doesnt contain misc.img. i used the misc.img of the riley rom v1.0. is that ok?

Oryt after using this rom for about 5 days.

Pros.

Wifi connection fast and smooth
Battery life improved
Ui smooth
Games smooth
Antutu score 14.6k spec 3d games butnot all


Cons

Usb connection a lil bit slow
Still has graphic glitch to need for speed shift' everything turns white
Asphalt 6,7,8 not working fc or cannkt be installed
Some graphic glitch during the game.



Sir i have some question' what other tweaks i can or compatible with this rom?? Do you have any screep like v6 super charger from xda?
