Cannot Flash TX8 Max

Please help guys.

I have a TX8 Max AP6255 Android box. It started crashing the other day so I did a factor reset. The box rebooted and sat on the erasing screen all night. I rebooted it the next day and the box would not boot at all. I have downloaded the firmware from the website (both beta and normal) along with the USB_burning_tool. I start the software and select the image. I then connect the USB cable to the box and the laptop. The burning tool says Device connected. I then plugged the power into the box. I select Start. It gets to 7% Formatting then fails with the error [0x32030201]UBoot/Get result/DiskInitial error. I'm using burning Tool 2.1.6. Any help would be great so I can get my TV shows back :-)

Your device is recognized by Amlogic USB Tool, which is a good thing. (only soft brick)

Did you research how to un-brick your device?
Have you checked multiple sources to ensure you have the proper or newest firmware(hopefully with bug fixes).
Good.

1. Re-download firmware try to verify that the zips are not corrupt.
2. Disable your Antivirus software.
3. Remove any USB peripherals(my USB mouse interferes with Burn Tool).
4. Try flashing.
5. Failing above...try holding the reset button until you pass the 7% mark..or hold it the entire way through the process until 100%.
6. Failing the above, as you hold the reset button you may need to plug in the power supply while you plug in the USB cable ( 3 hands).

Wrong/corrupt firmware or flash method by Amlogic USB Tool can Hard-Brick your device.

I think I have found the problem. It's a XGODY TX8 Max box not a TANIX. Does anyone know where to download a XGODY firmware from?

• Save firmware to a same Amlogic Burn Tool folder...not desktop (too tired to explain why...lol)
