Just follow the instructions in the readme file.
Here is the link for pre rooted Android 9

Anyway you're a legend. I used this rom you recommended https://mega.nz/file/d4oA1AJb#cpdJ6H...Y9i0RTkjVkDdiI
Was that one already pre-rooted? In the file it had root instructions. I tried flashing it with burn card maker and it didn't work, so I used usb burning and I just followed the root directions before booting up the rom. Also is that the same rom you're using? I notice the other thread you linked to (gt1 mini) is compatible with multiple devices, but this one seems pretty solid. No weird errors on the web browser, wifi or video files.
If the ATV 9 rom you linked to is the best/same you're using- I have no reason to reimage with the gt1 mini rom.
Thanks again!

I already installed the first one. I managed to move the soft directory to the root of the c drive then run cmd prompt and cd c:\soft then enter the update.exe and the commands in the readme (some of the instructions are illegable due to me not having russian fonts installed). It gave me some errors but when the device booted up it worked. I had to go find my double sided usb cable, most places don't carry that cable anymore and I guess most people prefer burn card maker.

I'm using the km9 pro deluxe Android 10 stock rom but used the fix to get root. If I used Android 9 I would use that one I posted from 4pda dated 12/11/2019 or the rom for the gt1 mini that I linked you but not all gt1 mini rom boot. Yes those two roms I linked you are pre rooted but you have to do the steps like you did to get root working on some roms.

The 4pda Android 9 rom is running fine with no issues. I'm not sure why but lately I can't remove some system apps with system app remover without causing a bootloop even with root. I had to disable some of these extra apps instead like the keyboard, default file browser, or Google music.
Getting this KM9 to work made me think I could fix another issue I had with a bricked M8S pro L. The last time I used the male to male USB cable was to attempt to fix that but pin shorting still doesn't seem to work.
