    TWRP Recovery 3.2.3 flashable for S905x2/ u211 devices

    TWRP 3.2.3.1(Android 8.1) Recovery can be found here:

    a.[HowTo] install TWRP zip-file:
    1. install "Recovery reboot app" (google playstore)
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...eboot&hl=en_US
    2. open app and reboot to recovery.
    3. in recovery choose "Apply update from EXT",
    choose sd-card and ur TWRP-u211-3.2.3.zip file.
    4. install
    5. reboot....done...


    b. [HowTo] install TWRP img-file:
    1. install Amlogic flasher
    2. open app, choose .img recovery and flash!
    (img file must be in root of internal storage)

    Now reboot to twrp recovery and do a backup first
    before u install any other firmware or rom!

              Thanks for the instructions.

              I followed them on my X96 Max 4/64GB

              All went good, only thing i was not sure about was after the 5 steps you said

              "Now reboot to twrp recovery and do a backup first
              before u install any other firmware or rom!"

              Well when i rebooted to TRWP recovery, i was asked to mod my partition as it was read only.
              i did not know what to chose so i let it mod the partition i assume for write permissions.

              I hope that was the correct thing to do and if not should i change it back?

              Then i did the backup, i assumed it would write to the sdcard but it defaulted to the internal storage.
              Next time i will try and change that to the sdcard.

                You have done all correctly, and on the next backup
                just choose"select storage " at the left lower side corner...

                  How to enter recovery mode from a cold boot? I'm stuck after boot animation so I can't get into reboot to recovery app.
                  Edit: i can enter recovery mode, factory reset, but still stuck after boot animation. My box is hk1 play, board u213 in configuration

                        It’s a X96 Max 4GB/32GB with Android 9.0 pie stock.

                              i did step A.
                              3)after i chose sd-card...it stated its empty.
                              in the working mode...i am able to see my sd-card card with the image file.
