Yes, it the new version certainly worked for me. However, I have moved to Wasser's ROM version 1.2.5 and I must say it is the stablest of them all.

I have flash my box with kernel-1080p-k-r42-old (1.2.4 firmware) and it works good too.
But I have a question, it's possible to just reflash the kernel by checking only the box kernel in the program ? If yes, it will erase all apps ?

I can't really say. With Mobile phones flashing a new kernel will only update the apps but I have not tried this on this device. I would say since kernel-1080p-k-r42-old works fine just stick to what you have.

Yes, but I want pass from kernel-1080p-k-r42-old to kernel-720p-k-r42-old for better display on my TV which is not FullHd.

I never try it, but I will say, it is ok, if you only reflash the kernel (but do not forget the boot.img because of icon size and so on), because the apps and so on at another partition (userdata.img)...

Yes, that should work. TB is sufficient for this purpose.

Just would like to know which version xbmc you are using..?iam aware that its only 1280×720 resolution..it doesnt suplort 1080p playback as far as i know...thanks...any way of rooting this box or a good custom.rom that can run 1080 smoothly..thanks...again..

Compare to post #2 it seams that you have a newer software release so to be sure the easiest way is, to open the device and have a look at the PCB (because I also have a sticker at the box and not only at the package AND are you sure that you can trust the label at package / device? I'm not)...

You have to remove the four rubber-feeds and under them you will find the screws (you need a thin screwdriver) ... then you have to open it with only a really little bit of force (the housing parts is like click together (not really strong)) ...
