Have you tried
1.making a custum playercore ( play youtube content with xbmc/dvdplayer)
2. in xbmc does 'scroll button' not give you 'play using' then choose 'dvdplayer'

Anyway...
Could you post the link for the firmware?
So, other can look at the code..and perhaps learn something...
or you might get luck and someone makes a custom build for you...
Is there a 'adb' option ? perhaps someone can backup there Eng version

English Firmware has been released for the box I think http://consumer.huawei.com/en/home-m...ds/m310-en.htm I think its English, I'm just downloading it to test it.

youtube doesn't work well with xbmc default player(shutters, sync issues, etc.) As mentioned by Batfink32 the firmware is now available for download on huawei website

what version of mx player are you using with? I can't get it(version Pro 1.7.19) to work with youtube videos though other add-ons seem to work just fine. Every time a youtube video is clicked I get "can't play the video" error message.

I'm using same version of mx player.1.7 19 and youtube doesnt work in xbmc but the app works fine.

Anyone having any luck with this box? Thinking of selling it, hardly any Play Store Apps, Poor XBMC, slow stock launched. Struggling to see a use for it.

Maybe I am the only one that likes it. I use aptoide for most apps anyhow, mine seems to play xbmc well and launches quickly and has never crashed. I would like to see an android update so it would be more compatible.

Did you ever install this firmware, I upgraded mine recently to this firmware [Was originally on chinese]. The upgrade succeeded nut I can not pair the remote with devise.

Any one is using the English firmware on the chinese version of the device?

Im still using the C02B007 fw which mine came with. I removed most of the Chinese apps and use apptoid for most of my downloads.
