[ROM] Beelink GT-King ALVATECH Standard Android (9.0 Pie) S922X

I have received my Beelink GT King this week. I'm currently using the default Beelink ROM (buildnumber 909PO_wol), but I'm having serious issues with the OpenVPN for Android app. When using ethernet, the VPN connection is unstable. It immediately disconnects and reconnects. This does not happen when using a wifi connection instead of wired ethernet. A similar issue has been reported earlier on the Beelink forum, but I did not find a solution.

I'm considering to install the Alvatech rom. Does someone use the Alvatech GT_King_AT_V5.0_C92X ROM and the OpenVPN app for Android? If so, can you confirm there are no issue when using ethernet/wired connection?

YES the Alvatech 5.0 rom is awesome but not sure about the openVPN, don't use it

EDIT: fixed by downgrading the OpenVPN for Android app.

i asked to Beelink and they confirmed that the firmware 9090 is for gt king
best regards.

Ask them to confirm model serial types and for a link . Last 909PO was for GTKing Pro only.

Hi dear Alvatech, thanks for your effor to do this, I have found two issues:

1.- Concern with the bluetooth devices, I paired my PS4 Joystick with my GTKing B922HXXXXXXXX, all ok, but when I tried to test the keys with any app, it doesn't works, for example with Octopus app, but when I try to do the same with my samsung note 8, this works perfectly, I think this is a problem with the drivers compatibility.

2.- Another issue is with the graphics drivers, when I enter to TVSettings/DroidSettings//Display/Screen Resolution, the "Auto Switch to best resolution" option is disabled, I can´t switch on, the same happens with "color Space Settings" option, it´s disabled too, so, when I change the "Display Mode" option (default is 1080p60hz) to any other option (4k for example) when I switch on SDR to HDR for a few moments this works, but my TV show me a message inmmediately after showing: "To bring you optimized image quality, ULTRA HD Deep Color will activate for the current HDMI port", when I push "ok" (I don´t have any other alternative) , my TV lose the signal, I have to enter to my TV Settings, enter to "HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour", and unselect HDMI port Ultra HD Deep option for I can recover my GTKing images again, when I return to Screen Resolution settings again in my GTKing, it is in 1080p60hz again (the default resolution), But I know that the GTKing is compatible with 4K resolution and HDR, because until I don´t push ok in the TV message, the colour is HDR, I hope that you understand what I try to explain.

I think that the rom version you mentions is for gt king PRO not gt king.

Thanks for your amazing firmware and all your work.

I have a little problem. I set the time for the screensaver and everytime i reboot the gtking the value is missing so the screensaver activates. Is there any posibility to remove the screensaver.
I prefer to remove the screensaver because it appars very often and it bothers me.

Hi - -leave the ticked defaults. Load the rom then hit the start button. Put one end of the usb cable in the pc. Whilst holding the other end of the USB cable over the box USB onnector push the power cable in the box The second the lights turn green push the other end of the usb into the box. The flash will start.

Hi again. I have downloaded and installed the USB Burning Tool v 2.1.7.0 and can see where I must choose Normal erase under Erase flash. I see that there is another choice under Configuration called Erase bootloader, which is checked. Should this remain checked or should it be unchecked?
