why the main website didnt say anything about nextbook trendy 8 or nextbook800t
and theres no detalis about it
and if anyone could hlp with a custome recovry mode like cwm or something it will be great

I've heard of it, but I don't think anyone around here has one yet. In fact, I'm not aware of any place marketing it in the US. I may have seen it on Amazon.com though.

Do you have one? If you can root it and dump the ROM, I'd be happy to take a look at it when I get time.

do a back up with holo backup app for windows is like dumbing the rom ?
u can find the app in xda -holo backup-

I don't know. Never used it. Try Onandroid. It will get most of the partitions.

i cant flash the Onandroid without recovry mode !?

dont give so much care about a way to dump the rom i will find a way

but i need to ask how much the size of the dump must be ? 400~600 mb or less or more ?

Onandroid is an application that you can download from the Play store. It will do a nandroid (CWM Style) backup of most of your partitions on any rooted device. I think it gets everything but bootloader, and the two splash logos.

I don't know what size it will be. It will be the same size as the partitions on your device.

u have to say that the name of the app is online android backup

i did the backup but i think it s with the apps that i installed do i need to do a factory reset cuz the data backup alone is nearly 700 mb

Yes, the data partition contains all of your downloaded apps. We don't need that part though. We don't include the data partition in a ROM. We wipe the data partition during flash install and then you can redownload the apps.

There probably isn't a kernel partition. My models don't have a kernel partition.

To get bootloader, logo and aml_logo you have to use dd in a terminal to dump them.
