Nice research! Yeah, I think we've identified the cause. Uninstalling busybox would probably fix the problem, but busybox is probably more useful than the mouse cursor for most of us. Maybe a different version might fix the problem...

i need to ask
i connected a mouse to my device but there's no crusor ...just a the boot animation pic as a mouse crusor
anyway to change or fix this ?

I used this app to first uninstall and then reinstall busybox. It fixed the mouse cursor issue and I still have the current busybox version.

if i changed the dpi of my device to higher or lower than 160 wat will happen

may it will run the games and apps better ? or brick the tab

Changing the DPI should change the screen density. Some apps may not work. Play store compatability may be affected. You could have a brick like state if system apps like the launcher are negatively affected.

If you feel like experimenting, you should always be able to reflash the rom.

There is a module for the xposed framework that allows you to set DPI on a per app basis. There is another module for xposed that always reports the "stock" DPI to the play store. These could be used to make adjustments for anything that doesn't work correctly at a certain DPI.

As far as I can tell, the Next800T, Next8HD8G and Next8HI8G are all the same tablet with different LED screens. The various 7 inch models also seem to be the same aside from the screens. The only other difference I'm aware of in any of them is the NAND size, although there could be other minor hardware differences as well. The Next8HD8G probably has the newest build date posted here in the forums. You can download it and take a look at the build.prop file in it.

What exactly are you looking for in the build.prop? I might be able to answer whatever question you have about it. eFun / Nextbook tends to be really sloppy with their build.props. I've seen a lot of stock ones with mistakes, duplicate entries, entries that don't belong, etc... some of them even have model numbers from tablets sold by other vendors in them.

lol ..this efun company is a joke

i am seeking for better performane and in general there s some mistakes in the device i need to see if they fixed it in the newer ones

like the when i entering settings>apps it s freez for about a minute then i can modify my apps and some times freez in each app i see in there

also when i connect the device into usb storge it s some times turns into boot screen that with finger on it but vertical in landescape- i hope u understande this - then all the touch's inverted and i have to power off my device and on again to try my luck again

also as u know bafore in some 3d games the device freeze's and restart it self

this all the problems i got and i try to fix ...i love this tablet but these things killing me
