These China (X96) made Boxes share a lot of the same stuff inc name so sometimes it gets a lil confusing, anyways I will give this ROM a spin on the Mini M8SII.

I have a box of X96 Amlogic s905x.

You are wrong, the X96w (!) is S905w...

Then I would go with the aml_upgrade_package-tx5-atv9-ap6212-1GB-2GB_DiavietDa.img since it is for TX5

I can confirm it is for S905x, flashed on s-box. It is booting up!!

I flashed aml_upgrade_package-tx5-atv9-ap6212-1GB-2GB_DiavietDa.img first bevause of bootloader. Then X96_Khadas_Vim3_ATV_Pie.

And I made a mistake...the box stuck bootloop because I powered it on through usb....too stupid

Flasing X96_Khadas_Vim3_ATV_Pie only should work as well

Confirm: wifi on s-box S905x 32GB working!! Maybe someone can integrate wifi drivers from X96_Khadas_Vim3_ATV_Pie to aml_upgrade_package-tx5-atv9-ap6212-1GB-2GB_DiavietDa.img. Bluetooth not working!

This is in the /vendor/etc/wifi .Once root is installed , it's easy to make a folder here for other wifi drivers.If there are already 3 equivalent firmware then it is possible to change boot.img for wifi work.I do not know in detail how to add wifi drivers.

Which Box are you using this firmware on pls?
